Chapter8 That Little Things

Ara..

I giggled as I saw him reading at the corner of the library of the school university, looking so handsome and all. I wonder if he’ll ever notice me. He’s too cold and distant but those little things making me want him more.

 

This little organ in my chest keep beating abruptly for him.

 

Haay. He’s the apple of my eye! Oh! I saw his lips twitched into a smile!

 

Hiding myself two shelves away from him, I silently prayed that even just one day, even just one second he could talk to me. Maybe he can notice me if I get caught! Oh my! I’ve been like this since the moment my eyes landed at his. I’m captivated—no drawn into him is the right word! My feelings for him is like breathing, I cannot stop.

 

Suddenly he stood and return the book he was reading a moment ago. I pouted.

 

“He will leave...” I said to myself, feeling so down and lonely.

 

I bowed my head and sighed heavily. “Christian...” I spoke his name.

 

“Yes?”

 

Shock. I look around because I know who owns that voice! I can never fail!

 

“C-Chris—I mean President?” I asked stuttering. I felt my cheeks burned! Holy mother of saints!

 

“You call for me, Ms. Chua?” He asked.

 

And suddenly he smiled a little, making my heart race and my knees weak, starting to shake.

 

“Ye—No!” I answered embarrassed.

 

He chuckled! Gosh! He chuckled! Huhuhuhuhu! Is he making fun of me?

 

I pouted. “Am I funny?” I asked softly.

 

But everything has been washed away when he said... “I cannot help it, I’m sorry but you look cute to me.”

 

Bug-eyed, I managed to look at him even  though I wanted to shout so loud! “W-What?” I asked stuttering.

 

He occupied the seat next to me. Making me barely breathing. “I hate repeating myself.” He sternly said.

 

I pouted and look away. “Sorry.” I sincerely said.

 

“But I guess, you can be an exception...” He said and then looked at me intensely. I gulped by his eyes. “Ms. Ara Chua, you looked damn cute to me.”
