HM and KS arrived at the thana and as always everyone was busy doing their bakaiti but the unusual one was PS sitting restlessly on her desk worried for KS
KS approached PS
KS:are amma aap kab aayi?
PS got up and hugged her tightly as this was the last time she was going to hug her
KS:are aaram se amma aaram se aur aap esy kyoon kr rhi hai jese hum mar ke zinda hue hain
PS was just listening to her daughter's complain looking at HM for any sign
HM nods her head negatively to tell KS have not regained her memory
PS:beta voh hum bahut dino baad aaye haina toh isliye bas aur kuch nhi.
KS:acha amma esy baat hai, le....
HM:(interrupts) PS aap keliye kuch kaam hai cabin mein aaiye aur KS aap voh report complete kr dijiye humein aaj raat tak HQ mein submit krna hai
KS:ok MS, jai hind
HM:jai hind
With this HM and PS go inside the cabin
HM:toh Pushpaji hum sidhe sidhe batate hain... KS ki condition mein thodi bahut improvement aayi hain aur haan of course unhe kuch yaad nhi aaya hai ab tak.
Tears dwelled up in PS's eyes
PS:MS ek baat Btaiye
HM:hmm?
PS:(with a moist tone) yeh sab kuch hamari hi bachi ke saath kyoon hota hai?
HM:mtlb pushpaji?
PS: jaise pehle maddam sir... Pehle purab ke saath aur ab.....
PS couldn't complete the sentence and started sobbing
HM:are amma aap rou kyoon rhi hain...
(She takes a glass of water and a makes PS drink it)

HM makes PS sit on the chair and kneels down before her holding her hands
HM:(in a soothing tone) aap chinta mat kijiye amma... KS theek ho jayengi aur vese bhi unki sirf ek mahine ki hi memory gai aur isliye theek hone mein zyada vaqt nhi lagega....hmm?
PS:(sobbing)pakka na MS theek ho jayengi na voh?
HM:haan pushpaji pakka promise theek ho jayengi aap chinta mat kijiye... Aur chaliye ab aap jake badnaam ki chai peekar aaiye hum apko break dete hain..
PS:ji MS
And she walks out of the
HM:pushpaji, karu ko toh theek hona hi padega kyoonki iss pichle mahine mein hamne toh bahut kuch kiya hai... Aakhir iss beete hue mahine mein hi hum dono ko pyar hua hai... Isliye unko toh theek hona hi padega
After a while when all were busy in their work PS was on her field duty KS was completing the reports and HM was studying a case in the cabin SS and CC were talking with each other, a girl entered
Girl:cheete!!!
CC:are tum!!
CC ran towards her and hold her waist, lift her up in the air and hugged her tightly burying the girl in his chest while SS was getting hell angry and jealous
CC:finally! Finally tum aagyi riya, finally
He said with full enthusiasm while SS came towards them rushing and separates them
Riya:ye... Ye kya hua apko?
CC:santuji aap ese kyoon kr rhi hain?
SS:voh...voh... Yeh thana hai cheete!! Tumhara gahe nhi jo yeh sab kr rhe ho tum (She yelled)
Riya:haan cheete tu ek acha officer hain duty pe zimmedar bann
CC:sawrry riya sawrry
When CC said this santu's blood boiled and she wished to slap cheeta hard right in his face while KS was looking at this frozen.
SS:ho gya tera cheete? Chal ab kaam pe lag tu
CC:are santuji, riya bahut saalon baad aayi hain humein uske saath thoda vaqt bitana hai... Hamari bachpan ki dost hai yeh!!!
Riya gets a call so she goes out and leaving cheeta and santu arguing
CC:santuji humein bas thoda sa vaqt bitana hai riya ke saath
SS:duty hours hai cheete yeh nhi ho skta
CC:hum chutti le lenge santuji
SS:ab tu chutti lega? Duty ke baad mere saath ghum lena agar ghumna hi hai toh
CC:are santuji lekin....
CC was interrupted by riya
Riya:sorry cheete aaj nhi ho paega mujhy kahin jaana hai....
(Cheeta ka patta katt gya 😂)
CC:(disappointed) acha... Umm theek hai..
Riya:chlo ab mein nikalti hoon
CC:chal bye phir
KS was watching all this when HM came out
HM (in mind: lagta hai hamara plan kaam kr rha hai)
HM:KS? Yeh aap kahaan khoyi hain?
KS:.....
HM:KS?
KS:....
HM snapped her fingers infront of her
KS:(coming to her senses) haan...haan.... Jai hind MS
HM:yeh aap kahaan khoyi thi KS?
KS:nhi khin nhi MS
HM:hmm sab smjh aa rha hai (in low voice)
KS:ka.. Ka MS?
HM:hmm? Kuch nhi.. Kuch nhi KS...
KS:acha MS ek baat puche aapse?
HM:haan puchiye zaroor
KS:yeh sab pehle bhi ho chuka hai kya?
HM:nhi.... Mujhy toh nhi lagta
KS:ummm....ek aur sawaal...
HM:ji puchiye
KS:kya apko aesa laga ki yeh jo ho rha hai woh pehle bhi chuka hai?
HM:mtlb?
KS:mtlb.... Kese samjhaye apko?
HM:yeh sab baadmein krte hain KS... Apne voh report complete ki?
KS:umm nhi... MS abhi krte hain
HM:(in mind) lagta hai KS ko kuch kuch yaad aarha hai... Vese hum bhi kese jealous hue the na uss vaqt
(And she chuckled on herself)
HM went towards cheeta and santu and saw cheeta shivering there
HM:yeh CC kaamp kyoon rha hai?
SS:pta nhi MS
CC:MS.. Jesa apne kahaan vesa mne kiya.... Aur voh ladki ko mne gale lagaya pehli baar santuji ko chodke kisi aur ladki ko gale lagaya hai voh bhi iss tarah
HM and CC burst out laughing
HM:hmm toh aesi baat hai? Santu tumne uss ladki ko payment dedi naa?
SS:haan maddam sir dedi
