Karishma woke up to her mobile phone ringing loudly. She stirred and tried to hold her wife who would usually be sleeping beside her, but too bad she wasn't there.

Oh! She is not here, she remembered.

Her hands went to her mobile and she smiled reading the name flashing on the screen.

"Haseena 💕"

"Happy 5th Anniversary Jaan," She heard her say as soon as she picked up  the call. A wide smile appeared on her face. They have completed 5 years of being together.

"Happy Anniversary to you too baby," Karishma said in her sleepy voice and kissed her through the phone.

"Kya hua? Mera bacha abhi bhi so raha hain?" Haseena asked, Karishma smiled once again. "Aur apne phone kyu nahi uthaya tha, barah (12) baje? Hum apko tabhi wish kardena chahte the," She heard her wish innocently.

"Kya kare jaan, ab SHO banne ke baad time hi nahi milta hain. Raat mein ghr ate hue gyarah (11) baj gaye. Thak gye bahut aur so gaye the. Iam sorry" She said with her eyes closed.

"Hmm. Ab kesa lag raha hain?"

"Apse baat krne ke baad sab acha lagne lagta hain" She said with a sleepy smile.

"Acha SHO sahiba, apki wife ko iss bare mn pata chl gya toh?"

"Pata chlta hain toh chlne do. Hum kya kisi se darte thodi hain DSP Maddam"

Haseena chuckled and replied, "ab uthiye. Thane nahi jana hain kya?"

"Jana toh hain baby, lekin apke bina mann nahi lag raha hain. Aaj ek mahina hone ko aaya, apki shaqal nahi dekhi humne"

"I am missing you too my love. A few hours more and I will be in front of you," Haseena said sweetly over the call. Karishma kissed her once again.

"Theek hain, hum chalte hain. Varna DIG sir se daant padegi," Said Haseena.

"Ji, theek hain, hum bhi jaate hain nahane"

"I wish I could join you" She flirted over the call, making the latter blush. Haseena had literally mapped her whole body with her mouth but still managed to make her speechless. The spark in their marriage had never died, and it never will.

"Acha jaan hum kya keh rhe the, aaj saath baje, taiyyar rahiega. Hmm?"

"Saath baje hi aane wali haina aap toh?"

"Haan, isliye keh rhe hain. I am gonna compensate all the time I spent without you".

"How?"

"Keep guessing," Haseena said and hung up the call. Karishma hit her head, "kya kare hum inka," She said with disbelief but then smiled. 

She went downstairs after getting ready, as always Ammi had prepared the breakfast, even after requesting her not to, and had left for her morning walk.

Karishma couldn't be more grateful, she had everything she could have wished for. A very caring mother in law who never made her feel unloved. Her family at the Thana, she literally had everyone playing a different yet important role in her life. And at last, her beautiful wife. Who stood by her side no matter what. They could never get enough of each other. Haseena had every thing a lover should have. Passion, love and commitment. The only tears which Karishma could cry were of happiness and joy.

Every morning she would find herself entangled with Haseena, and every night in her arms. She couldn't believe how she could play every role so perfectly. Whether it would be of a strict DSP, a confident business women or a caring yet passionate wife. She had took care of her responsibilities beautifully.
