Still trolling through our house, I had to revert Sebastian's attention to what mattered the most.
My big gesture moment. So, I turned around to grab a small bag from the counter and I grinned happily and placed it down in front.
"I made it myself." I told him shyly.
Sebastian eyed over to me and saw what I was implying and snickered, walking over to it and across from me curiously. He then grabbed the bag and opened it up to see exactly what I planned to give him.
It was a "Thank You" note and a star shaped cookie that I had spent hours making all day while London was snoring her face off.
If she ever knew I did this for Sebastian let alone anyone else, she'd probably shove it up a place where I knew he would have a hard time trying to get it out.
I could see from the corner of Sebastian's eye and lip, he was trying to creep up a smile but only looked up to me bewildered.
"What kind of poisonous crap are you trying to kill me with Lynn?!" He questioned annoyed.
I stared at him shocked with my jaw dropped momentarily. So much for being nice. It was infectious however to see his sheepish grin though he almost had it kinda made him really adorable.
Again...what are you even thinking?
"Nothing Sebastian! I just wanted to do something nice for you!" I told him defensively.
"Why?!" He then asked me. I sighed distressed at his attitude and hesitantly shrugged.
"I always do it to all of London's guests who co-star on her channel. Hence the thank you note! Trust me, London has no idea I even did all of this. I just...I wanted to give it to you." I said timidly.
He then stared at me carefully and smirked holding up the cookie and smiled to me.
"Why?" He asked again more calmly. Man, did this guy not give into sweet gestures easily.
I guess it made sense though. I sighed and nodded. Whatever it took to make him realize I wasn't a total terror at least. Or a terror at all and I had move passed what had been brought up and dismissed.
London however was another realization he had to come to years probably down the line.
"Unbelievable! Why does it always have to be for an alternative motive?!" I inquired angrily.
"Because you're you!" He then answered nonchalantly.
I shook my head. I didn't know why I thought this would work. "Look, if you don't want it you don't have to take it! God!" I yelled trying to jump over the counter, to snatch back my cookie.
He smirked and moved it out of my reach as I then began to take a tumble on the ground. "AH!"
Quickly, his reflexes quickly caught on before I could land on the hard light hardwood floor and his hands were found planted on my waist casually, holding onto me in a small tight grip.
Wow...he surly knew how to hold a woman correctly.
He then chuckled teasingly and looked down to me as my body went into flames and I could feel his soft and spearmint breath was beating down my cheeks at a strangely intimate distance.
"You're welcome..." he uttered slowly.
I briefly then started to get lost into his pupils before I quickly snapped out of it and pushed him away from me as he rolled his eyes innocently.
Prick. I should've known better.
"I didn't say thank you! I'm not going to feed into whatever that was because you sir are just so disrespectful, despicable, and diabolical! You arrogant piece of s-" I started to shout to him, getting pissed.
"But I do." He let out actually...warmly.
I was taken aback as I looked to him surprised. "What?"
He smiled shyly and looked up to me as I could feel his mint eyes looking into mines...once again. They were a lot prettier when the sun from our windows were reflecting them.
"I do want to say thank you. No one has ever done anything this nice for me. Especially someone like you." He replied.
He then grabbed my necklace that was hanging on the side of me now due to my almost fall, and turned it back around slightly touching my bare neck slowly putting it back in place softly.
I smiled a little shuttering at his soft touch on my skin, feeling something so electric I couldn't even begin to explain it but I definitely didn't mind it either.
He gazed now into my eyes as I stared at him back the same way longingly.
"Uh wow. Gee thanks." I then said, not sure whether to take that as a good or bad thing.
He smiled shaking his head and biting the bottom of his lip. God that lip. That pink, plumped, and full lips that I was getting hypnotized by so quickly in this moment.
"Trust me, it's a good thing." he trailed off, staring at me carefully. "It means a lot. Thank you." He finished. I smiled shyly and nodded.
"Well, you're welcome." I simply said a bit breathlessly.
I didn't know why that would ever be the case considering I wasn't anyone special to him nor was he to me. It just felt very pleasant though how in this very moment we were actually like...this.
Just as I was about to correct my breathing pattern to make sure he didn't know his charm was actually getting to me or if this was another trick of his, we both heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
Instantly, we pulled back and started to turn to face what it was. I grabbed the bag I had for him in his hand as our hands brushed briefly, feeling that sweet tingling sensation once again.
Doing my best to suppress the thought, I had put the bag behind my back and smiled.
We both then saw London walking down the stairs all fabulous and ready to get to work.
"Ugh! Are you sure I can't just go back to bed and hope this nightmare is over with already?" She asked us, glaring at Sebastian.
He smiled smugly and looked back to me. Whew, that was too close. Whatever that was.
I could see deep in his eyes it was something more there now but he wasn't mentioning it.
"Oh come on London. Have a little more faith than that. Just give this project a chance. You might change your mind." I tried to reason, trying to go back to normal again.
She smirked. "I meant him." She then answered, still glancing over to Sebastian. He shrugged.
"I don't see why not. I'm sure that's what your brain does every night, when you put it through so much torture all day just by your 100th makeup tutorial." He fired back casually, now heading to our kitchen.
Her jaw dropped and scoffed at him offended. "Those tutorials make great ratings you twit! What makes your channel go viral?! Not posting for the week?!" She asked.
"Nope. Talking about those videos. I mean, we all know you graduated from clown college. Do you have to keep bragging about it in our non saturated faces?" He then asked smartly.
I rolled my eyes to myself. I guess it was back to regular schedule programming.
