I wanted to go home now.
Tonight was suppose to be perfect, amazing, and grand. So far...it was everything but.
For the past 30 minutes, Jason had been talking with London at our booth and lane without so much as even a wink toward my direction. I honestly was glad they were getting along, but the only thing I said to the man all night was basically 'hey'.
We hadn't even picked up a bowling ball and the only one that was having genuine fun was him.
Seeing his reactions and everything every question he had asked her, seemed like he was more fascinated with her life than his actual "date."
Sure, it wasn't technically an official date with all these people around and it being a work party nonetheless, but I was really hoping to get some kind of time alone together. So much for that.
I could see on London's face, she was getting tired of talking about herself and that never in a million years would happen. Honestly, it made me feel better about the situation a little knowing she wasn't even kinda interested in him anyway.
"I gotta know this now! Is it true you had 50 guys one time asked you on a date and you turned them all down in one night just so you can have a girls night with your sister?" He asked.
London smiled shyly and nodded. "Well, girls night are very important to us. Besides, we were watching a Michael B. Jordan movie. No one comes before Michael."
Wow, I was included in the conversation without making myself actually utter any words. Loved that for me.
As I continued sitting here waiting for someone to acknowledge my input, I kept dwelling and looking over to Sebastian who was over at the bar with his 2nd drink now all alone himself. Jeremy and Candace were having a great time getting strikes every play they took.
I was impressed. I wanted to learn how to bowl.
The closest thing I got to it was looking at bowling parties on WeView when Jason's videos ran out, Sebastian hadn't uploaded, and London was making me edit hers.
Looking back to him, I could see he kept shyly looking away every time I glanced over and vise versa for whatever reason.
I wanted to explain to him everything of why I was even here with Jason when he initially asked me. I felt like a terrible friend to just up and invite someone, let alone another guy not that it even mattered as far as I knew with me.
It almost had me wondering if things was even a little okay with him and Madison. He just looked so lost and a bit disheartened right now, I didn't understand it.
"Wait! So is it true as well that you once had your nose hair insured for $10,000?" He then asked.
Me and her both looked over to him taken aback and a bit weirded out.
"Ew no! Of course not. It was my lash extensions." She corrected.
I smirked and shook my head to myself. Trying to focus back over to Sebastian, I then heard her call me over finally and cleared her throat.
"Oh Lexi!" She shouted through the loud music. I turned to her timidly and smiled shyly. She smiled back apologetically. "How about you and Jason go get us some drinks? You know WeView influencers. Nothing starts a real party but that!" She said holding up her vlog camera happily.
I nodded agreeing. At least I could talk and get to know Jason London free for a few minutes.
"Good idea! Jason, you coming?" I asked him hopefully.
