They went to check the knife. Why did they become so observant this time? Usually, the four boys would just shrug everything off and continue the circle of life. Why now?

"Things are getting really creepy, huh? First, Luke saw Calum's double and now this knife?" Said Michael, who has now finished eating.

Ashton is secretly thinking, you don't know what I have found yet.

"Nah. Maybe these are just oddly given at a certain time. Don't get your minds clouded off. These are no big deal." Ashton popped up.

A chorus of yeah and right echoed in the bathroom. Luke found the knife, took a hold of it and observed it.

"I don't think there is anything weird with this, let's just put this back and do something to spend time."

"Wait! Luke, see this?" Calum pointed to the handle of the knife.

"Oh, look!"

The handle of the knife, Luke hadn't seen, was engraved with numbers. 5476.

"What? Did they have anything to do with the device itself?" Michael stepped in.

Luke shrugged, "I don't think so. Return it to the kitchen and then we could run around the hotel. Go."

Together, they went outside their hotel room and let the air fill their noses. People are quietly walking down the corridor, giving them weird looks.

Their footsteps does not seem to echo because instead of marble floors, the corridor halls were carpeted. You could even walk bare-footed. They heard faint footsteps coming their way but the boys chose to ignore it and kept walking.

"Oh my gosh!"

A hurdle of teenage girls came running towards them. As if they were new stocks on the mall when it's sale.

"Can you follow me?"

"Omg we are staying here too!"

"Can we take a photo?"

"Kyaaahhh!"

The bunch of screaming ang giggling girls fired up questions to the band, nonstop. The four lads politely told the girls to cool off, but who's going to stop someone who just saw the love of their lives? No one.

One girl threw her phone at the boys, and Luke was unfortunately hit in the face. He groaned in pain, "Ow!"

"Hey watch out!"

"You're hurting him!"

"Get out!"

The frantic crowd scolded the poor girl.

Ashton held his hand up and as loud as he could manage, he spoke, "Guys! Please calm down, now now, can you line up so we can all do your favors? Is that good?"

Silence ate the hallway for a split second and then a majority of yes are heard. Finally, the girls lined up. Suddenly forgetting the poor girl.

A pale-skinned teenage girl was sobbing violently in a corner of the hall. Her tears almost stained her shirt. She gave the crowd, and the boys one last glance. Muttering to herself, she ran away.

They never noticed.
