"Y/n come downstairs!" A voice called out. You recognized it as your guardian, Rani. You sighed heavily and abandoned your book to go see what she wanted. Rani had looked after you all your life, but she wasn't your mother. You had known that for many years, she looked nothing like you. As you had wavy h/c hair and your e/c eyes, while she had unnatural purple eyes and white hair. She also had none of your facial features or personality traits. So you knew she wasn't your mom, but you never dared to ask how you ended up in her care.

You had a few theories, like your real mother had died or that she couldn't take care of you. But the most likely one was that she left you because she didn't want you. You pushed those thoughts aside as you reached the bottom of the stairwell.
"Yes, Rani?" You asked. She turned to look at you.
"I have a ton of patients to attend to today, can you handle going to work on your own?" She asked.
"Rani I'm almost thirteen I can walk to the cafe on my own. " you answered. You hated when people assumed you couldn't do anything on your own, because of how young you were.

"I know just don't forget to meet me at the hospital when you're done, " Rani answered sternly. She didn't like it when you talked back to her, she was determined to have total authority over you. No matter how old you got. "And one more thing, do something with your hair it's a mess. " she commented as she turned on her heels and began walking away.
"Yes mam." you answered sadly and made your way out the back door. It was quite a lonely walk to the cafe, so you distracted yourself with thoughts of your book from earlier.

It was a supernatural book, you had read the entire series multiple times and just found out that the author would be writing more. It made your heart flutter because it was the only thing besides the textbooks and medical records, Rani let you read. She thought the series itself was ridiculous, a story about two brothers who hunted ghosts. Was a waste of time, but you ignored her negative opinion and read them anyway.
"I wonder what will happen to Sam?" You asked yourself as you walked through the door. Unlike usual, the cafe wasn't that busy, with only a few customers.

At one table you spotted four male figures, one had black hair and wearing a trench coat. The second was a young man, probably in his twenties with brown hair and strange eyes. The third had dark golden hair, green eyes and wore a leather jacket. The last was taller than all of them and had long brown hair, a beard, and a strong build. You stared at the tall one and you locked eyes for a few seconds. As his hazel eyes looked at you, you could feel your stomach churn. Because he had flecks of hazel in his eyes,  just like you did, it scared you a bit.
"Hey, you going to buy something?" The guy behind the counter asked.

"Sorry, " you said turning your attention to him. "Who are they?" You asked after giving him your list of orders.
"FBI agents, word on the street is that they're investigating some murders that happened down the street. " he explained. You furrowed your eyebrows at his response, those four certainly didn't look like FBI agents. They would dress in the clothes they were wearing, you gave a small smile as a theory popped into your head. If they were posing as FBI maybe they were hunters like Sam and Dean.

"Interesting I think I'll take my usual and go talk to them, " you said to the clerk. He handed you a ham and cheese sandwich and you made your way over to their table. You briefly overheard them talk about something regarding angels attacking people. But they stopped once they noticed you had taken a seat at their table. "Hello. " you said to them.
"Um, are you lost? " The figure with the trench coat asked.
"No and I think I'll stay right here. " you responded.
"You want to sit with us?" The youngest one asked completely confused. You smiled at their responses, they were outcasts like you, so you liked them.

"I like you, you guys don't fit in around here either." you told them.
"um okay, kid but don't you have parents?" The tall one asked. You felt your insides heat up at the word parents. You had never heard the term parents in your life, only mother and father.
"Parents?" You asked unaware what the word meant.
"You know like a mom and dad." the man across from you said. He was the only one that hadn't spoken to you.
"I don't have parents. " you answered sadly. All of the men gave you sad looks and you thought they were pitying you. But then the youngest spoke up.

"Well I'm Jack, it's nice to meet you." Jack said and you almost laughed at his enthusiasm.
"Jack you can't just give a random stranger your name." the one with the trench coat scolded.
"But Cass she seems nice." Jack responded.
"Wait Cass like Castiel?" you asked recognizing the nickname. Could it really be did you just encounter the real-life Castiel?
"Yes and that is Sam and his older brother Dean." Jack answered before you could ask questions.
"Way to give us away Jack." Dean sighed.
"I know you guys, you're the Winchesters, " You said to them. "I'm Y/n it's an honor to meet you all." you continued overcome with excitement.

"Easy kid, we don't what the whole world to know who were are." Sam said to you. You turned red and apologized for being excited. "It's fine but what are you doing here alone?" He asked. Before you could answer a group of other customers walked by and insulted their poor clothing.
"Did you see those guys' clothes? They look homeless, " you got pissed at those words and throw food at the customers to shut them off. "Who threw that?" One of them asked.
"It was me no apologize to my friends." you demanding quite proud of what you had done.
"I like this kid." Dean commented. Before long the entire cafe was thrown into a food fight and even Castiel, who wanted it to end was dragged in.
