Chapter 21: Dont tell anyone!

Emma's POV

Norman has been acting a little strange lately. Especially at dinner last night! He was on his phone nonstop! I asked him who he was texting and he just told me that it was just a friend. I went with it but WHO was the FRIEND?

Even today right now as we speak, he even smiles when he types on his computer!

"Normaaaan!!" I say in a whiny voice and wave my hand infront of his face

"Ack! Emma! You shouldn't distract me! I'm doing work!"

"Are you hiding something from me? Because I feel like you are!"

Norman bursted out laughing

"Bahahahaha! Why would I be hiding something from you, Emma?"

"You've done it bunches of times!"

"Like when?"

"First time was, remember when you told me that we have green tea?"

"Mhm. And?"

"I went to get myself a green tea packet, but then there was none! I had to end up drinking peach tea and that was terrible!"

"Ohh..I do remember that. Sorry about that. What was the next thing that I did?"

"Hmph! You told me that there was pizza in the office, so I went there and there wasnt anymore! Just a box full of tomato sauce and crumbs!"

"Ahh I do remember! Sorry about that as well. But I'm not hiding anything from you. If I am, I'll make sure to let you know." Norman says smiling

"I still dont believe you!!" I say stomping and shutting Norman's door. I slammed the door but didnt feel bad at all!

"He IS hiding something from me!" I shout whiles finishing my tuna wrap

"Has he given any evidence?" Gilda asks

"Yes! Hes literally is smiling every single day and when he types he smiles as well!"

"Maybe, he'll tell all of us. If hes hiding something" Don says washing his plate

"Emma, I think you need to be more patient towards Normàn. He might be smiling because of his line opening that's coming next week." Gilda says finishing her spinach salad and taking it to the sink

"That could be...Or he might be dating someone!" I jump up

"What?! Normàn in a relationship?! Didnt he say that he's not interested in dating?" Don asks

"That's what I remember." Gilda says

"Pshh! That was 3 months ago! He's probably dating someone now, and if he is...He will tell me in a minute!"

"Emma, you can't expect Normàn to tell you everything. Its his life choice." Gilda says looking at me

I deeply sigh and frown "Yes, yes I know but-"

*BEEEEEEP* "Can Emma Watson come to my office please? Emma Watson, come to my office."

Norman called for me! I said "Goodbye" To Don and Gilda after lunch and then run quickly upstairs to see Norman 

"Yes sir!"

"Come sit. You said that you wanted to know if I was hiding something from you." 

I smile nervously and sit down in a leather chair.

"So, If you really want to know...But you need to promise me that you're not going to tell anyone!" Norman says to be me in a stern voice

"I promise! Cross my heart and hope to die!"

"Alright....I am dating someone." Norman confesses

"OMG WHAT?!!! YOURE DATING SOMEONE?!! WHO! WHO!-" I fangirl loudly and then my mouth gets covered by Norman's hand

"Shhh!! Dont say anything!! It's a secret! If you tell anyone, you're dead!" Norman says looking into my emerald eyes.

"Mmhph!" I nod.

Norman let's go of my mouth and I hug him tight

"Awww! I'm so happy for you! Who's the guy?!!"

"I...Well- Wait! How did you know I was dating a guy?" Norman says blushing a little

I smile a little "I kinda had a feeling that you weren't straight. Let me guess...You're bi?"

Norman smiles a bit and pulls out his phone "Mhm, my you are smart.This is how he looks like."

My eyes widen big, I knew him! "Omg! Didnt he like deliver that food from last month?!"

"Yesss~"

"That Trusty Frust employee?!"

"Ahaha, yes yes. His name is Ray. We've been dating for 2 weeks now."

"Awwww!! Have you two kissed yet?"

Norman smirks "What do you think?"

"Yes...?"

"Yup! He's also bi as well. Though.... he hasnt told his mother yet. Same with me. I'm pretty sure my family will leave me." Norman frowns

"Aww hey! It's going to be okay. I should've told you last week but...I'm pansexual. I realized last Tuesday that I was."

Norman gasped and smiled at me "I'm so proud of you! Congratulations for being pan! I'm here for you no matter what!"

"Awwwee! Thank you~! And I'm here for you being bisexual! But I try not to show it because, ya know?"

"Haha yes I know what you mean. But we're all in this together!" Norman says

I smile big "Of course! We're all like a family! But please please dont tell Gilda this, but I...Kinda have a crush on her. Shes really cute but dont let her know any of this!"

"Oooouu~ I didnt know that you liked Gilda! You should ask her out sometime!" Norman says smirking at me

"Ughhh! I know! I want too! But what if shes straight? I'd be SO embarrassed of myself if I did that!" I say whining a little

"Gilda doesnt really seem straight to me. I remember a few guys asked her out a year ago, she wasnt to pleased. They were very handsome but she rejected them all. Not to mention, I remember Flora asked her if she was into any guys and she said a disgusting 'No' "

"Ohhh...Now that you mentioned it...I do remember! Yeah, that could be, but I'm still scared!"

"Its okay, Emma. These things take time. Its okay. From what I learned is that you need to feel comfortable being able too." Norman says rubbing his hand on my back

"Thanks Norman. That really means a lot. I have to get back to work. But I will continue to talk to you later!" I say getting up and smiling

"Of course and see you later!"
