Three days passed after the incident inside the underground library, Aurora is still unconscious.
She was still in her deep slumber and doesn't even move a single inch.
She's just breathing.
"Nothing will do better if you'll just stay like that," Freita said trying to comfort Demetrius who looks miserable.
He was just staring the sleeping Aurora, waiting until she opened her eyes.
Napailing-iling na lamang si Freita. She wasn't able to arrived earlier, she heard Aurora's call yet she didn't listen.
A curse was implemented on Aurora. A curse that will make her sleep forever.
Hindi niya alam kung ano ang magiging gamot upang matanggal ang sumpa, it was a curse that Anasthasius made himself.
She didn't understand the logic of making Aurora fall into a deep sleep, what's the point of it? She can't guess it nor think of any eligible reason.

"That's the only way for Aurora to wake up."
"No! You can't! You can't do that! You're the King of the northern lands! I can heal her, I promise I will heal—"

Naitikom niya ang kanyang bibig dahil sa narinig. His voice felt hopeless as he kissed the tip of Aurora's hair.

Napaiwas ng tingin si Freita nang makita ang miserableng mga mata ni Demetrius.

Demetrius knows, that Aurora wouldn't wake up not until Anasthasius himself would reveal the cure.
He can't accept the fact that he's with her the entire time but he couldn't even protect her. He thought that it was okay for her to visit the library but he didn't realize that Anasthasius can still enter the library.
