"Momma, I wanna come too."

I stopped from stepping my foot inside the carriage when Zacharias pulled the soft silk from my long dress.

I let out a deep sigh. "Zach, your father needs you here. It's just a three days parting. You don't have to worry about me, I have her right?" I was pertaining to Freita who will accompany me.

"I don't trust her, I don't trust anyone except you and father."

"You don't have a choice but to trust her, she may not be as good as you think she is but she means no harm to me."

Doon ay sumimangot siya. "Fine, don't get injured. Any small bruise, I will wreck those filthy fox tribes."

Alinlangan akong napangiti at ginulo ang buhok niya. He resembles his father too much, he's dangerous.

"Then, I'll go now your highness." I bowed as a sign of farewell.

Nang makasakay sa karwahe ay binigyan ko ng huling tingin si Zacharias na hindi inaalis ang tingin sa'kin. Kumaway ako at ngumiti hanggang sa nawala na ito sa paningin ko.

"I don't think I understand my position right now your Majesty." Rio frowned while resting his head on his shoulder.

Nakalimutan kong may kasama pa pala ako sa loob ng karwahe, this guy and this guy.

Both of them looks indifferent with each other, how many times did their eyes meet exchanging with death glares?

"I thought I was your partner?!" He annoyingly cut off my words.

My thoughts were floating inside my head seeing how Rio was annoyed. Did I really said that he will be my partner? I can't really remember.

"Accept the fact that I'm more attractive than you."

Nabaling ang tingin namin sakanya na tila pinagmamalaki ang sarili niya.

Rio growls heavily as he started to grow his fangs longer trying to attack the innocent guy.

"Calm down you two, this is not the time to make a fuss. I will explain everything so please listen well," I said trying to calm the atmosphere between them.

Rio calmed down and rest his chin annoyingly on his palm. "I don't even know why I am here."

I ignore what he said and clapped my hands. "First things first, this banquet isn't just a normal banquet but a sabotage. Anasthasius is planning something in between the banquet and his main target is none other than me."

Ipinakita ko sakanila ang buong guhit ng mapa. "This is were the main event will happen, it takes time to enter inside the palace especially fox tribes are into black magic."

"Paano mo nalaman ang mga bagay nayan? Especially the sketch of the map?"

"Well, except for being attractive I am capable of things that wolves do not."

Napabuga ako ng hangin nang magsimula nanamang bumigat ang tensyon sa pagitan nilang dalawa.

"Freita, enough with games. I need you two to cooperate with me, this is the only way for us to save Demetrius."

"Freita? What a girly name, did your mum knew that you were a gay?"

Napahinto ako at pinigilan ang pagtawa dahil sa narinig mula kay Rio.

I saw how Freita darken her expression, oh no! Don't get angry Freita! That's really a bad ideaaa.

Hindi pa man nakakapagsalita ay biglang lumabas ang usok mula sa ulo ni Freita. She transformed back into her fairy form and the silver dusts was all over the carriage.

Yeah, the other guy was Freita disguising as a guy to become my partner.

"What the fuck, that motherfucker is a fairy?"

"Shut up idiot, I'm not just a fairy. I'm one of the seven guardians in HunaEryn, I am above you dimwit."

Rio chuckled. "I doubt that old lady."

Freita's silver dusts turned into black and I saw the danger flag coming from the aura of Freita.

Rio looks normal, it doesn't look like he's bothered.

Why did I even picked these people? Scratch the people, they are immortal beings.

"Enough, there's only one thing I need you two to remember."

Sabay silang napatingin sa'kin. "if the plan failed, I want you to kill me."

Freita angrily fled towards me. "What? Did you just said 'kill you'? I think my ears couldn't hear properly—"

"Okay." Rio agreed cutting Freita's words.

Freita turned her gaze on Rio who wasn't bothered about it. "How could you just agree like her life is just a tool?"

"I think you don't get the point here fairy. We, wolves only cares for our King. We only offer our loyalty, power, and even our lives to our King. Queens are the same, they are just a fodder and a tool to bear the next King."

That's right, I'm just a substitute. I was only chosen accidentally because of Zacharias mating me.

That's why I tried to be careful, but it was too late to think of it. Demetrius isn't even waking up, I don't have time to think of how unfair my life as Aurora.

"We don't have time to think about this and that, I think we're stopping right now. It's getting night," I said trying to calm the atmosphere.

The carriage stopped and a wolf knocked on the carriage window asking me if it's okay to stop from boarding.

"It's fine, there's still time to depart tomorrow morning. Let's rest for today," I agreed.

Nang makababa sa karwahe ay nakita ko si Rio na tinutulongan ang dalawang lobo na magsindi ng apoy.

"I smell something from him, something unfamiliar."

Nagtatanong ang mga matang napatingin ako kay Freita. "What unfamiliar?"

"Try asking him to transform into a wolf, I need to test him."

"Hindi kaya instinct lang yan ng inis mo? I don't smell anything though."

Freita frowned. "I never failed following my instinct Aurora, you know that very well."

Napatango na lamang ako at dumiretso kay Rio na hinubad ang suot nitong pang-itaas kaya kitang-kita ang naglalaman nitong bruskong katawan.

"Hey," I called his attention and his eyes glance on me.

"What?"

I tried averting my eyes on his healthy tempting abs. "Can you transform into your wolf?"

His eyebrows rows. "What for?"

I was stunned when he suddenly transformed into a wolf not waiting for my reason. I can still hear the broken bones being stretched as he turned into a big wolf.

What the hell?

He's much more bigger than Demetrius but Demetrius's aura is much more scarier. I think he's around a beta position if packs were to exist in this world.

He growls and walks confidently while his eyes are locked unto my eyes.

"Y-you can transform back now." I felt the stutter from my voice when I opened my mouth.

When he transformed back, I saw how his sweat dropped from his neck. "Your majesty, I can easily snatch you away now that his majesty isn't waking up."

Doon ay napakurap-kurap ako at bumalik sa katinuan. What the hell happened? I think I lost my mind for a minute.

"I need to go."

Not waiting for his response, I immediately walk out and I felt my heart beats rapidly as I entered the carriage quietly.
