We then dropped off Julie at her house and we said bye to her. While we were driving from Julie's house to ours, I started to get hungry. "Um Jasmine?" "Ya?" "Can we stop to get food? I'm hungry." "Ya for sure" She then drives toward Ruby's. She already knew Ruby's was my favorite diner of all time. She then parks the car and closes the top so they don't break in. She puts a stick that locks the wheel from people stealing the car. We walk in and there's some teenagers eating with their friends while the song '𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵' 𝘣𝘺 𝘔𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘦𝘭 𝘑𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨. My sister and I go over to a booth and sit down.

Then this waitress comes over to our table. "Hi my name is Jackie and I will be your waitress for today," she says while giving us our menus and takes out her notepad and pen. "So can I get you started with any drinks?" My sister says, "Oh ya can I get...a medium coke and for u?" She turns to me. I look at the waitress, "I'll just get a medium lemonade please." "Alright a medium coke and a medium lemonade coming right up." Then she shoots us a small smile and goes to get out drinks. Me and my sister stay silent looking at the menus while listening to the music and the teenagers laughing and people enjoying time with their family or friends. "So what you getting Lena?" "Oh just the usuals as always."

"Something's up hermanita..." oh shit.... "Que tienes?" (What's wrong?) "Sis your gonna get mad at me..." "Just tell me I promise I won't even if it's super bad." I take a deep breath, "um...I saw Benny today..." my sister just sighs, "and what happened?" "We uhh started talking and he invited me to watch his game after school." "But you gotta be carful around our familia with him, you know how they get." I was surprised she didn't get mad or anything. "Ya se...", (I know) but why didn't u get mad?" My sister sighs, "Because I know how you feel..." I'm just staring at her with confusion written all over my face. She chuckles, "I'm saying this because...I like Alex..." I just stare at her shocked. "Really??" "Ya for a long time too." "So?? Does mom and dad know." She just laughs and sighs, "Ayyyy hermana if they did, I would be stuck in my room all day because mama and papa would ground me for my whole life to make sure I don't breath the same air as him." I just chuckle, "ya ur right." Then the lady comes with our drinks and gives us straws and takes out her notepad and pen. "Alright what can I get for you 2 ladies :)"

"Um I'll just have a burger with no tomato and cheese with extra crispy fries." My sister says. "Alright and for you," she says looking at me. "Um I'll have the junior burger with cheese and no tomato and the fries extra crispy as well." "Alright then ur food will be coming out soon. 😊" We give her our menus and she walks off. Then I hear the door bell ring. My back is facing towards the door so I have to turn to see it is but I just shrugged it off. My sister's face was looking towards the door and she looks at me and just nods her head to me to face towards the door and I turn and all I see is Benny and his older brother Alex.

My brother and I walk to the diner because my sister Daniella wanted to go home to work on homework so Jimena picked her up and took her home. "You played good today Benito." Alex says while ruffling my hair. I push his hand off my head and fix it to where it looks decent. "Ya I guess I did..." I said while stuffing my pants in my pockets and kicking a pebble in front of me. "What's up with you?" "It's just," I sigh "I like Elena a lot man since like 5th grade." Alex sighs, "To tell you the truth..I like Jasmine too." I look up at him shocked. "Like actually? Or do you feel bad for me?" Alex laughs, "Nah man I'm being for real. All these girls are all over my ass and I just wished she was able to talk to me." I knew what my brother meant but girls weren't up my ass well except Diane, she's over-obsessed with me and it so annoying. We then arrive at the diner and I see a car that looks really familiar. I shrug it off and walk inside. I turn to my left and I see Elena with her sister Jasmine. Oh shit.....

I make eye contact with Benny, and me being a dumbass, waved for both of them to come over to our table. They look at each other and both walk over. My sister didn't look bothered and just scooted over the window side and so did I so the boys can sit. Benny sat next to me and Alex sat next to Jasmine then they started having a conversation like they talked a lot. Me and Benny looked at them then at each other. "I'm guessing your confused as I am?" I ask. "Ya," then he laughs. Man he has the best laugh ever... then the waitress comes and brings our food. "Oh boys you order as well so you just don't stare at us eat." Then the boys order their food. Me and my sister start eating but slowly so we don't finish our food before them. We all start having a conversation and eat our food. We all promised each other that we wouldn't tell anyone that we talked and hung out. We all hugged each other and went home.
