While I was walking back home I just kept thinking, how much I am really gonna miss Hercules. It was dark so I walked fast to my house. When I got to the front, the lights were on. I take a deep breath and walk in. I close the door then turn around to see my whole family.

"Um I thought everyone was asleep." Then my mom comes and just runs to hug me. I then confusingly hugged her back.

"Mija I am so sorry." "Mama what do you mean?" Then my mom pulls away and my dad puts his hand on my shoulder.

"We heard what happened princesa." "Huh? With what papa?" "With Mr.Mertle's dog. We were looking for you and we called Mr.Mertle and he answered and told us he was with you and why you were there all day, because Hercules passed right?"

"....ya...." I say looking down. Then my dad sighs, "and u were huddled up with Benny."

I shot my head up and my eyes widened so much I thought they we're gonna pop up. "W-what do you mean?"

"Hermanita he told us that...you and Benny are dating." Oscar butted in. "I can break up with him if that makes you happy!! I'm sorry I really-" then my dad cuts me off.

"No mija, it's YOUR life and WE can't control it. So we all talked and...we all decided to let you date Benny."

"REALLY?!?" Then my dad just nods. I run up to everyone and give them a big hug.

When I gave a hug to my sister I then asked her, "are you gonna tell them too?"

She then pulls away and just smiles and mouths, 'not yet 😉'.

"Alright it's getting late so let's all head to bed." My mom says.

We all went to our rooms and went to bed. Man I was super happy that my parents and family let me date him. Then I just fell asleep.

"Guys I can explain-".

"No! You are gonna break up with that...that...GURL!" Jimena yells.

"She's not JUST A GIRL!! She's amazing and beautiful and the best thing that ever happened to me and makes ME happy!" I yell back at my sister.

"You do not yell at your sister and she's right you ARE going to break up with her!" My dad yells.

"HOW COME I CAN NEVER BE HAPPY FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE WITHOUT BEING A DISAPPOINTMENT TO YOU GUYS! MAMA AND ALEX SUPPORTED ME THROUGH EVERYTHING AND YOU GUYS GET MAD AT ANYTHING I WANNA DO!!!" I then just stomp out of the hall and walk to my room and slam the door.

I throw myself on the bed and just cry in my pillow. I then hear a knock.

"GO AWAY!" My door opens. "I SAID- oh it's just you mama..."

She just looks at me and just stands in the frame.

"Mama?" She just comes over to me and gives me a hug.

I then start crying in her arms while she brushes my hair with her hands and tries to calm me down.

"Shhh it's alright Benito they will get over it soon."

"But what if they don't mama? What am I gonna do?"

"Just get some rest. I'll try and talk to them."

I just nod and she kisses my forehead and leaves my room. I just sit there and think,

'I am never EVER gonna break up with her.' Then that's when it hit me. 'WHAT IF HER FAMILY FOUND OUT?!?'

I shot up from my bed, put on my shoes and snuck out of my room from the window.

I arrived at her window and just climb up the tree. The lights are off so I sneak up and knock on her window. I start seeing a light go off and Elena half asleep pops out.

I heard knocking on my window and I turned on my light, opened my curtains and Benny was there on the window.

"What are you doing here it's so late. 🥱 Come in its cold outside." He then climbs in and grabs onto my arms.

"Do your parents know? Are they mad? Did they ground you?" "Benny what are you talking about?" "Do your parents know we're dating??"

"Ya?-" he then let's go and starts pacing around my room. "Benny-" "I am so sorry you in trouble because of me I didn't mean to-"

"Benny your fine they didn't get mad. They said it was fine." "Really?" "Ya. Do your parents know?"

He then sighs and sits on my bed. "Ya they do but my dad and sisters are super pissed. My mom and brother knew everything. I feel like I'm just a disappointment to them."

He then starts choking up his words like if he was gonna cry. "Hey hey hey Benny it's ok at least you have your brother and mom to support you. Plus you are NOT a disappointment to anybody. They're just angry but they will get over it soon."

He then just nods and looks me in my eyes. We both lean in until our lips touched.

We then pulled away. "Wanna stay or your gonna go back?"

"No it's fine, Ill go back because in case my sisters or dad walk in and see me gone...I'm dead."

I just chuckle and give him a hug. "I'll see you in the morning amor."

I just nod and kiss him on the cheek. He then climbs out and I close my window and go back to my bed to go back so sleep.

I didn't sleep because I just felt so bad for Benny. I was overthinking so much I finally fell asleep.
