Today was 4th of July and I was super happy because it's the sandlot's annual night game. They invited Julie as well since well, yeah-yeah of course 😏.
I just got out of the shower and got started getting ready. I put on a red ruffly strapless top with my high waisted jeans. I put on some white socks then my white high top converse. I then started to brush my hair. I didn't wanna do anything to it so I just did a small blowout. I started to put on very light makeup. I just concealed some dark spots, put on lipgloss, did my brows, and put on some lashes. I grabbed a royal blue scrunchie from my cajon (drawer), and put it on my wrist.

I went downstairs and I could already see some tables and the middle of the street set up since we live in a dead end.
"Aww mija you look beautiful as always." My mom says coming up to me and places a small peck on my forehead.
"Thank you mama you look stunning as always as well." She was wearing a off-the-shoulder black top with some jeans and some red sandals and some blue eyeshadow with red matte lips and her natural thick-long lashes.
"Thank amor mio. Now go help your papa he said he needed some help with the food." "Ok mama."
I walk outside and see my dad fanning the grill so the fire can start smoking. "Oh princesa your here, I need you to help with something." "What is it papa?" "I need you to go to the grocery store and buy some oil for the fire." "Papa I don't know what it looks like."
"I do." I heard a voice say behind me. I turn to see Benny look amazing as always. He was wearing a blue checkered flannel with jeans and his dodger hat.
"Ok Benny go with Lena because she needs to learn as well." He chuckles then gives me $30. "Hey! That wasn't very nice papa." Benny chuckles, "Come on let's go before they close."
We then start walking to the store hand-in-hand. We walk in and Benny leads me to the isle where all the stuff for the grill and all that is at.
"Shit." Benny says. "What is it?" "...Philips..." I turn and see Philips and some girl buying stuff. "Ugh please no." We turn and start speed walking.
"Well well well..." Great... Benny and I turn and see Philips with an arm around a girl that was literally dogging me. "Hello Lena you look beautiful as always. But not beautiful enough as my lovely girlfriend." "Shut up your girlfriend looks like she got fucken nose surgery and they fucked it up real bad." I hear Benny snort next to me trying to hold his laugh in.
"So Lena I'm guessing Benny is ur new...boyfriend." "Ya he is and he's 100x better than you ever were." "HUH?!" "Oh Elena I'm guessing you didn't tell Benny did u? 😏" "amor what is he talking about?" I sigh, "The dumbest decision I have ever made is what he's talking about...I dated Philips until he cheated on me. I'm glad he did either way because I was tired of your controlling ass." I say pointing to Philips. "Um don't talk to him like that. 🙄" "Bitch keep rolling your eyes and maybe you'll find a brain in there and finally make sense."
