Love at Book Store

Chapter 3

Mile POV

When he said he waited for me I was lost for word . I was happy to hear that sentence from him . Why am I happy ? Iam not a person to get this much excited when someone says they waited for me  .  My heart is pounding , I cannt stop staring at him . I cannt escape from this reality , everytime I see him my heart beat faster. But Why ?!

" You waited ?", I ask him trying to avoid his eye who were looking at me continuously .

" Yeah , I did " , he said in low voice standing up from the floor .
Apo went to coffee machine to grab coffee for both of us and Iam sitting on the floor making myself comfortable and stacking the books one by one according to the name of author . The word " I did " is ringing on my head not leaving for a second . Why he waited for me ? We only met once so why should he ? These thoughts are going through my brain when Apo came bringing coffee on both hand . I can see the steam coming out from the coffee. He handed me one and sat on the floor.

I wanna ask him , what did he mean by he waited for me ? Did he waited because he have no friends in this city or he have different meaning to it . I was in deep thought taking a sip from coffee , when suddenly Apo break my thoughts by his question.

" Do you have girlfriend ?", Apo ask me while taking a sip from the coffee .
" No , not now !" , I said .
" That means you had one before ?", Apo ask me another question.
" Yeah , I had one but that relationship didnt last long . We just didnt click with eachother " , I said . Apo nodded his head looking at me .
" What about you ?" , I ask him " Dont you have girlfriend in Chiang Mai ?"
" Hahaha , dont tease me , I dont have one ", he said . At that time we already finished our coffee and back to arranging the book at the shelf .

" Dont you have class today ?", Apo ask me looking at me . The sudden realization of reality hit me hard .
" Oh , shit ! ", I cried out, standing up from the floor . I hurridly took my bag from the table .
"Apo , Iam leaving now . I will see you in the evening ", I said to Apo taking my leave .
" You will come right ?", Apo ask me with his soft gaze . I dont wanna leave , my inner voice is screaming . I want to spend sometime with you .
" I will for sure ", I wave my hand towards him saying that sentence and leave the store . I can sense his smile behind my back . Is he feeling the same as me ? or he is just wanna be friend with me ?

" Mile why you are soo late today , just hurry up . Proffesor gonna scold you ", Pete cried as soon as I answered the phone call.
" Iam already here ", I replied hunging up the phone.

Pete and Ae are already in the class . They wave at me calling me to sit besise them . I quietly sneak towards their seat because the class had been already started and if professor saa me coming late at class , she gonna  add more assignment to me .

" Why are you late today ?", Ae ask me standing up from the seat . *The class has ended*
" I was stuck in something ", I said them grabbing my bag and standig up .
" Lets grab something , Iam hungry " , Pete cried out standing up from his seat , putting his hand on his stomach .
" Today , I cannt . Iam busy ", I wave them goodbye as soon as I said this word .

Ae and Pete were confused and looked at each other . I had never skip meal like that before . So they looked at me confusely but I cannt be bothered . Today ,  in every class I was just looking at my watch . I was unable to concentrate . I were just hoping that the class end as soon as possible . Apo word that he gonna wait for me is ringing on my head from the start . I just cannt wait to see him again .  I  hurriedly went out of the college building and drive my car out towards the bookstore . Iam anxious , I dont know why I have to hurry ,to meet him ? Why Iam soo impatience to see him again ? It cannt be Iam falling for him whom I just meet . Mile !! are you serious ? You cannt be falling for a guy ?!.
