Chapter 19

It was already time for Mile to go  Korea for his competition . Even though Mile didnt get chance to meet Apo personally , they were always in contact with each other .

Mile along with his professor went to Korea . Professor Lee , a middle aged man , was Academic Counselor in his college . Mile was quiet familiar with him so he didnt feel any discomfort traveling with him .

Someone from organizing team had came to pick them at the airport . The organizer had already prepared the accomodation for all the participants . Mile and his professor with the organizer teammate   reached the hotel .

" Sir , here is your key ", said the receptionist  providing the room key to Mile  . They went to the room . As soon as they entered the room , Professor Lee lied down on the bed , which was at the middle of the room . The organizer couldnt arrange seperate room for the participant and their supervisor so they have to share the room togetehr .

Fortunetly , there was two bed soo Mile went towards another bed which was beside the window . Mile opened the curtain , showing the beautiful night lightning view of the city . He took out some of his clothes from the luggage and went to bathroom to take shower.

Mile came out from the bathroom and sat on his bed . Professor Lee was already woken up till then . Professor Lee went to bathroom , seeing this moment Mile pick up his phone ,sat on his bed and called Apo .

But other side didnt pick up  the call . He called again and again but there was no response . This time he called his mother and as soon as it rang she picked up the call , it seems like she was in competition for picking up the call .

" Yes mom , I just reached the hotel room ", Mile said

He talked with his mother and hang up the call . Professor Lee also came back from his shower and then they went down for the dinner . There were already people in the dinning hall , other participants had also came with their supervisor .

* vibration * * vibration *

" Ughhhh , its already 5p.m . ", said Kim , one of Apo friend from Medical College .

" Yeah, I guess we will finished it within one hour now ", said Tan

Apo and his friends were doing some assignment paper for their class presentation  in the Central Library .

Apo was soo busy with his work that he didnt realised his mobile , which was inside his bag , had vibrated for 10 times already .

After one hour , finishing up the work Apo and his friends went to near restaurant to have dinner .

After the dinner Apo went back to his room splitting up with his friend.

" MILE !!! ", he exclaimed Mile name as soon as he saw soo many misscall from Mile on his phone .

He hurriedly called him back but there was no response from him . Apo , who was waiting for his call since morning missed his call . He felt bad for Mile who had called him dozens but he was unable to response to him .

Apo sigh sitting on his bed staring at the phone which was on his hand . He felt uncomfortable in his heart .

Mile forgot to take his phone with him soo when he reached his room he saw that he had dozens of missed calls from Apo . Mile was sharing the room with his professor so he was not feeling comfortable talking with Apo infront of him .

Late at night , when Professor Lee was deep in sleep Mile sneek in bathroom and called Apo . Apo was waiting for Mile call so he was not asleep yet. He was lying on his bed tossing and turning from one corner to another . 

* Vibrate * * Vibrate *

" Mile ", Apo said picking up the phone as soon as it vibrate .

" Apo , how are you ?" , Mile said with small voice .

" Iam good . Did you reach safely ? Iam sorry , earlier I was with my friends doing assignment so I didnt realised your call ", Apo sigh

" Its okay , Apo . I realised you were busy ", Mile paused ," Otherwise you would never missed my call " , Mile said to comfort Apo because he know how bad Apo must be feeling right now .

" You didnt sleep yet ?", Mile added

" How could I ? I was waiting for your call ", Apo said staring at ceiling .

" Mile ! "

" hmmmm "

" Best of Luck . I will wait for you with your trophy " , Apo said

" Sure . I will bring it for you " , Mile smiled

" Mile "

" Yesss "

" What happened to your voice  ? Did you catch cold while travellling ", Apo sound worried

Mile explained to Apo that he was sharing the room with his Professor so he came to bathroom to talked to him and cannt talk loudly .

Apo sigh heavily

" What happen Apo ? Are you alright ?", Mile knitted his eyebrows , sounding worried

" No " Apo paused " Its just ........... I.. I.. I miss you "

There was a long silent between them

And finally Mile said

" I wish I was a bird , so I could fly to you right now "

" Hahahaha ", Apo laughed

" I miss you too Apo , I cannt wait to see you ", Apo whisper softly on his phone staring at his own image in bathroom image .

After talking for a while , Mile came out from the bathroom and sneakily went to his bed and sleep .

Professor Lee whom Mile thought was sleeping soundly had worked up from his sound . He was light sleeper so he wake up even though Mile talked softly . Professor Lee had put a small smile on his face while his eyes were closed .

It was after a week , the competition was finally starting and Mile got soo busy with the competition and rehearsals that he couldnt talk with Apo like before . Even though he wanted , Apo just turn down his call so that he could focus on his competition . 

From morning to dawn , he practice at rehearsal hall with other participants and at night he became  soo tired that he immediately went back to sleep .
