Chapter 24

MILE POV

" When did I became your boyfriend ?"as soon as these words enter my ear , my heart became tight . It felt like something was biting my heart .... it stings . Whats this new feeling ? That I never felt before ?

" Are we not ? ", I gather myself and asked him back . He was making his way towards kitchen so I made myself to move after him .

" What ?"

" Are you serious ?", I stand infront of the fridge staring blindly . My leg had already given up to move forward .

Apo had already went towards couch , grabbing the soft drink .

So , is this only me who thought we are more ? Am I mean nothing to him ? Then why am I even here ? Why I had to run all the way here from airport ? All kinds of thoughts were running through my mind .

I had never imagine one day I will get attached to a man . I always thought I liked women but there was something in this man but never thought it will end this way too .

I was deep in my thoughts that I didnt realise a cold hand had made its way to touch my face from both side , which broke me out from my thoughts.

I looked at the man infront of me . I dont know how but Iam seeing blur image infront of me . Then I realize my eyes are filled with water .

" I was just joking . ", Apo said as he wipe my eyes with his thump softly .

"I just said this because you didnt even asked me properly to become your boyfriend ", Apo added and hugged me .

" Did I startled you ?", He said

I nodded towards him and hugged him back more tightly .

" Please , dont do such type of joke with me ", I snuggle myself in his crook of neck .

" Iam sorry , I never thought you will react this way ", Apo replied.

" I never thought too but as soon as you said those words my body reacted immediately . I felt pain in my chest . ", I replied with my head buried in Apo neck .

There was silence between us . Apo had hugged me wrapping one hand on my waist and one hand in my head .

" I think I like you soo much that every word you say matter to me more ", I added

Apo stop caressing my hair and was stand still . I seperate myself from Apo and looked at him .

" Apo , what happened ? Did I say something wrong ?", I panicked as Apo eyes were full of tears .

Apo shake his head and hugged me more tightly as he sobbed .

We came back to bedroom . I laid Apo on the bed and was about to go to kitchen to grab some water but Apo grabbed my wrist as if he was saying me to not leave him .

So I just laid down on the bed with him . I lightly pulled him to sleep on my arm and hugged him to my chest so that he could sleep .

I was staring at Apo who was slepping for one hour already.

" I wonder what cause you to cry like this ", I murmured softly , wiping his eyes softly , turning towards him .

" Oh sorry , did I wake you up ?", I asked as Apo had opened his eyes as soon as I touched them .

" No , I was about to woke up ", Apo replied with soft smile

"Are you feeling okay , now ?", I asked Apo , caressing his cheeks softly .

" Ummm ", He nodded

" Can I ask you , why you reacted that way earlier ?", I asked

" If you are uncomfortable, its okay . I dont wanna force you ", I smiled

" When you said you like me soo much earlier and my every word matters to you , I just couldnt control myself ", Apo replied . He moved towards me and hugged my waist . His head was buried in my chest & I hugged him back .

" You know Mile , noone had ever said that they liked me ", Apo added

" May be , they are afraid to approach you ", I joked

" But Iam relieve they didnt approach you , otherwise I wouldnt had met you ", I kissed his head softly . Apo smiled hearing me.

" You know Mile , why I wanted to become doctor and didnt join my father business ? ", Apo said . He was talking softly as only I could hear his voice .

" May be you are more interested in medical than business ", I replied

" Its because of my mother ", Apo said as I could feel his voice was breaking out.

" Mother ? Aunty ! ", I replied . " Did she wanted you to become doctor ?"

" No "

" Then ?"

" Its because...... because I dont want to get soo busy with my family business that when my partner or family need me , I couldnt make time " , Apo replied

" So you dont want to involve in such occupation where you get busy ?", I replied , " But Apo , isnt doctors are more busy than Businessman?", I added caressing his head softly .

" But at least being doctor , I could save them if ...... if something..... ba..... bad...... happen ", Apo shuttered . I could feel he was starting to cry once again.

" Huh ? Why are you even thinking about that Apo ? Everyone are happy and healthy in your family ", I replied with confused expression .

" Not everyone , Mile ", Apo voice was shaking .

" My mo..... mother ", Apo voice break out .

" What happen to Aunt ? Is she sick ", I asked worriedly

" Not her , my Real Mother ", my eyes got big as soon as I heard the word Real Mom from Apo .

" What do you mean by Real Mum Apo ?", I got soo shocked , I looked at the man below who was hugging me more tightly now .

" When you said you like me , I ... I couldnt stop thinking about her because she always use to say me that . ", Apo start crying . I dont know what should I do in this situation . My heart was breaking seeing him like this . I just hugged him back tightly and let him cry his heart out .
