Chapter 18

Mile POV

I had my dinner and came up in my room . I was just about to enter my room that I heard my phone was vibrating . I ran fast towards my phone , which was lying on the bed .  Nowadays whenever my phone vibrate I think of only one person in the hope that he had called but I always end up getting disappointed .  This time I was not expecting much but as soon as I picked up my phone I saw the name of the person Iam longing for ... " Apo "

I picked up the phone and finally got to hear the voice of the person I was missing soo much . We talked , he told me about his brother condition .

" Mile , I dont think I could return ", hearing this I felt some pain in my heart . So many thoughts ran on my mind .

" Is it over between us now ? ", I thought I was thinking aloud but I didnt realize when the word came out from my mouth .

"......."

There was long silent between us . I could guess Apo was trying to say something but couldnt make himself to talk . And on my side , I was scared Apo will say something I couldnt handle .
I sat on my bed edge , clutching the bedsheet tightly waiting for Apo reply .

" You wanna end it ?", Apo said

" How could I , Apo ? We even havent started it officially and you are taking about ending it ? " I paused

" I didnt say anything , it was you who mentioned it first "

Yes , it was me . I was a fool to mentioned it .

" Iam sorry . I was scared that you wanna end it , when you said you wont return "

" Haha "

"........."

" I said that because my vacation was over now . I have to go to College now "

" Oh "

" And Mile I forgot to asked , what had happened that day ?"

I told him everything and not to worry about it  . I even told him about my upcoming competition and about going to Korea in next week . Though the competition is next month , they asked for the participants to come earlier .

" Mile , Iam happy for you . I know you will win it "

"Ummm "

We were just listening to each other breathe  without talking . I guess this is what people in love do . Before when I use to hear people talking on phone for 2-3 hours with their gf/bf  , I would wonder what would they talked for this long time  but now I could understand them . When you are in love you dont have to talk , listening to each other breathe is just enough .

" Mile "

"Hmmm "

" I will go to Chiang Dao tomorrow . I told you right I live there near my college "

" Yeah , I remember "

" Good "

" Mile "

"Yes "

" Mile "

" YES "

" Mile "

" Apo "

" Huh "

" What happened to you ? calling my name and not saying anything ?" I smiled

" I..... I just wanna hear you . Its been long , I heard your voice . I missed your voice "

" Should I come tomorrow, Apo ?

Apo didnt talked for a moment .

" No , no dont come Mile . You have to prepare for your competition . You cannt come here . For now focus on your competition . We will meet after you come back ."

We talked for hours on phone . It seems like we havent met for ages.
I didnt realize when we slept and my phone battery was dead . I woke up and put my phone on charger, then went to shower .

I came out from shower, got dressed and went down for breakfast .

" Mile , did something good happen ?", Mum asked me plating the breakfast in front of me .

" No mum it was nothing ", I smiled

" Something seem fishy ", Mum said sarcastically .

I just smiled and had my breakfast quietly . I took out my car and went to college . I had already messaged Apo . Today , he was also going to Chaing Dao .

We started talking daily on phone and mesaages & give update about each other daily life
In this way a week passed by . And it was already time for me to go to Korea ......
