"Can we see her?"
Y/n Baudelaire looked up at their mother who looked completely exhausted and smiled as s/he saw their little sister.
Y/n had been waiting for nine months to become a big sister/brother and once they heard a baby's cry from their room, their dream had came true.
Violet, who had been a big sister twice, was just as overjoyed as her younger siblings but she he had reassure them that their mother would be okay, no matter how much pain she sounded like she was in.
Although Klaus and Violet were happy about their little sister, it couldn't compare to Y/n's happiness.
"Y/n, would you like to hold her?" Beatrice Baudelaire asked her now middle child, who eagerly nodded.
Y/n hops up onto her/his mother's bed, being careful not to hurt her mother or their newborn baby sister.
Beatrice carefully handed her baby to Y/n who looked down at the baby in awe.
Sunny had opened her eyes and smiled at her older sibling in delight. She let out a small giggle that made Y/n smile down at the baby.
Resting Sunny on his/her lap, she watches as Sunny reaches for his/her finger. Y/n doesn't hesitate to give the the baby their finger although moments later when they tried to take their finger back, Sunny wouldn't let it go.
"She's perfect" Y/n muttered.
That's what Y/n remembered as s/he hiked up the Mortmain Mountain, destined to get their little sister back.
