" Violet are you sure about this? "
Y/n asks the oldest Baudelaire. Y/n had become close to the Baudelaire children in the short amount of time they were staying with Count Olaf. She/He had been orphaned from a deadly fire in their home when they were eleven. They had been "adopted" (more like stolen) from Count Olaf and not only did she/he clean up after him, she/he also had to try and clean up after his "theater troupe".

Violet and Y/n grew a lot closer, to the point were they almost kissed, that would be if Count Olaf didn't barge in and they had to pretend that they were cleaning up.

" I'm not sure at all, but I have no
choice " Violet says, looking up sadly at Y/n. Y/n shot the girl empathetic smile as they both stared off into the audience before y/n spoke up again.

" Listen, Violet, I know we've only known each other for a short time but you have made me the happiest I've been in years " Y/n said, looking at the brown haired girl standing next to her, who in Y/n's perspective, looked amazing.

" You've made me very happy too "
Violet says, looking up at Y/n. Y/n felt terrible about the situation the Baudelaires were in, especially Violet, who had to marry Count Olaf against her will and everyone around her thinks that it's just a play and when she tries to tell someone that it's not no one believes her.

Violet was thinking about that too. Y/n could tell because she looked away from Y/n with a sad expression on her face. Since they met, Y/n tried to do everything s/he could to make the Baudelaire's laugh and smile. S/he didn't know how s/he succeeded in that because they haven't truly laughed or smiled themselves since the day her/his parents died.

Y/n somehow also worked up the motivation to lift Violet's face up with his/her fingers so that she was looking directly at him/her. S/he was a couple inches taller than Violet so their faces met at the perfect distance.

Although their lips touch for only a second, it was the greatest second of their lives.

"SHOWTIME, SHOWTIME" Count Olaf says, running through the back of the stage, leaving them a few seconds to back away from each other. Olaf basically drags Violet up on stage as Y/n watched, a plan already forming is his/her brain.
