On our way to find a hotel we stopped and got gas as well as bought some snacks. Neither of us was up for anything special, but Flynn made an effort to constantly hold my hand and I appreciated it.

That night while I was falling asleep with my head on Flynn's chest I heard him whisper, "I admire everything about you."

I pretended to be asleep and he didn't say anything else, but those words really hit me hard. He admired me. Not just a part of me, but everything about me. He admired who I was as a person and that was something I didn't take lightly.

I felt like I had a reputation to hold up now, like he knew who I was, and he was going to keep me to it. Hopefully I never let him down.

The next morning I woke up and surprisingly Flynn was still asleep. This had never happened before, he always woke up before me. Always. Always. Always.

But not today.

I kissed his shoulder quickly and whispered, "Good morning," even though I could tell by his breathing that he was still snoring away soundly in snoozeland.

I tightened the string around Flynn's sweatpants which I had been wearing every night since that first one. I still didn't have pajamas so there wasn't really any other options. Plus they were extremely comfortable so bonus points for that. And they had pockets. I loved pockets in sweatpants.

I wasn't sure what to do since usually Flynn had already packed most of our things and gotten me breakfast by the time I even thought about waking up.

I could take a shower I guess. I ran my fingers through my hair and decided that would definitely be a good idea.

After digging one of Flynn's extremely ripped cutoffs out of his bag and a pair of shorts out of mine, as well as some essentials, I was ready for the shower. I took one last look at Flynn to see he was still out cold. I wonder if he couldn't sleep last night or something.

As soon as I turned the shower on a stripped down I was immediately happy with my decision. The water seemed to wash away all of my tension and anxiety yesterday from the crash and it made me feel like I was back on track to where I was supposed to be.

One of the paramedics had called Flynn last night and assured us that both the boy and the grandmother were in stable condition and they should be returning home by the end of the week. They even wanted to give us a medal or something, but we both declined saying it was just the right thing to do.

Flynn had told me it was all because of me. He told me if he had been alone he wouldn't have stopped, but I assured him he would stop the next time and that was where we left it.

I hummed a random song to myself as I scrubbed shampoo into my scalp. I hadn't taken a proper shower in days and it felt nice compared to the random dunks in a creek or just face and hands washing I had been doing.

"Knock, knock," Flynn called and I dropped the soap at the sound of his voice.

What was he doing in here? I was naked for goodness sake.

"Flynn! Get out of here! I am taking a shower!" I yelled at him as I peaked around the corner of the shower curtain, making sure to hide anything and everything from his view.

"I just had to go to the bathroom!" he yelled over the rush of the water from the shower.

"Ew! Can it wait?" I asked him. There was no way I was about to be in the same room with him when he did...ya know...that. Just no. No way sista.

"Faith! No!" Flynn whined like a little kid.

I debated what to do but I knew I would give in. Those eyes always got to me, no matter what it was he was asking for.
