drip drip

The last droplets of water dripped from the kitchen sink.

great, just what I needed

Lucina irritatedly run her brown hair as tried to make a plan on how to make a profit to pay for the water bill.

She has been living in a 1 room apartment alone, to satisfy the need of the hospital billing, and her other necessities. With her mother in her hospital death bed for the past 2 years, it has greatly affected their budget. Lucina had to sell the house and her belongings to keep on living.

Lucina sighed..

While thinking of a solution, her phone ping-ed, signifying a notification. Lucina walked to the bedside table where her phone was located.

How are you, darling?

It was her aunt, Aria.

Again, being a minor someone had to take care of her. Aria being the only relative she had, was forced to take her in. Lucina felt like a burden to her since Aria was a mother of 5, taking in another mouth to feed would extend their expenses.

I'm doing okay, Aunt Aria

Lucina replied. She knew what was coming next, it was always the same every week.

Would you like to visit your mom, with me?

No.

It was always the same answer, she didn't want to see the selfish person who ruined her life. An imbecile who was blinded by looks and money, the individual who changed her personality..

She could remember the day, like it was music on replay...

"M-mom, stop hi-im" Lucina sobbed vigorously

Her mother stood emotionless by the window, unaffected by the man in the room.

"Stop him" Lucina continued. She needed to stop him.

"Please!" She begged and begged. She coudn't move, the handcuffs were restraining her. Her wrists were bruising by the amount of tries she made to get out.

"Please, Mama!" She cried

As she continued to cry, Her mother slowly walked towards her, a calm look on her face. And as if everything was okay, she touched Lucina's face, as if calming her, then whispered.

"Look"

Gesturing to the scene infront of them, Lucina had no time to react before a loud gunshot was shot throughout the room.

The room was filled with her cries, screams and the constant questioning of why.

Her mother had the audacity to extend her pointer finger, and put it infront of her mouth, trying to sush Lucina, but it didn't, Her cries continued, and it never stopped.

Coming back to the present, Lucina quickly replied to Aunt Ari, refusing her proposition.
