Lucina rushed to the exit of the school premises, not hiding the fact that she was trying to avoid a specific someone. Lucina looked left and right, zooming past other people, careful not to bump into them and cause anymore attention to her after Malu's greeting the early morning.
Lucina could see the school gates closing in, so she quickened up her pace.
The moment she step foot out of the school gates, she turned a right not giving a second look towards the school, only to stop at the ice cream parlor near their school, when she had to take a breather.
Clearing her mind and convincing herself that Malu was gone for a long time, and won't be able to track her. Lucina went to the near convenience store to grab a few things.
A day after her aunt called to check up on her, she gave her money to last 2 weeks ad pay for her bills, leaving some extra for herself and her other needs.
As she entered the convenience store, the bell rung notifying the 3 people in the store of her arrival. She scanned the shelfs looking for the items she needed. At the corner of her eye, she can see the cashier eyeing her. Lucina can admit that he is a good-looking boy, but he isn't her type.
As she neared the cashier to pay for her items, she could still see him glance at her while checking out the items of the 2 other people in the store in front of her. When it was her time to check out, she plopped her items on the counter and quietly waited for him to finish.
It was bothering Lucina on how much he was taking his time on the 3 items she bought. And after what felt like ages, he finished.
He handed over the paper bag containing her stuff, but not before making contact with her hands while handing it. Lucina looked at him, disgusted, which he had replied with a wink.
Lucina feeling uncomfortable, rushed to the door and went straight to the direction of her apartment.
What a creep
......
When Lucina arrived in her apartment, she was desperate to rest, so desperate she didn't notice how her door was already opened.
As she opened her door. she was greeted with a surprise...
"Well you took a fairly long time to yourself"
Lucina jumped at the sound of Malu's voice
"What are you doing here?" Lucina exclaimed, horrified with his presence
"Well I did tell you that I was coming here, WHICH by the way we were suppose to be together" Malu walked towards Lucina, ever so slowly, frowning. "What do you have there?" he tilted his head, pointing to brown back in her hand
"Just some stuff I picked up in the store" Lucina shrugged
Malu hummed in response "So when do you want to start this project"
"The sooner, the better"
"You really want me out of this apartment, huh" Malu said jokingly
"What gave you that idea" Lucina replied, sarcasm dripping from her tone. While Malu was grinning at her.

Malu was groaning loudly
"I'm bored" he whined
"We only had half of the work done, Malu" Lucina deadpanned
"So?" he replied, giving her a look that said 'what's your point?'
Lucina only huffed and rolled her eyes.
For a few minutes it was quiet, Lucina was just checking what they have done, thinking of ideas to add. The silence was getting weird, especially since Malu was here with her, so she dared and looked at him, only to find him staring at her with a mischievous look.
"You know, I was very hurt when I found out you were already gone when I came out, today" he said, going close to Lucina and grabbing her on the chin, gently caressing it
"I think, you should be punished for that" he whispered, looking straight into her eyes.
Lucina's eyes were wide as saucers as she absorbed what he had just said.
"W-What?" she stuttered, Malu only smirked at her reaction, his eyes hooded as he stared into her eyes
"You heard me..." He grabbed her waist and slowly brought her closer to him. Lucina was half scared and half excited of his words. She was feeling weird in every part of her part of her body. She felt her melting in his arms.
Malu held her in his grasp for a couple of seconds, before pulling her away from him, his hooded eyes gone and replaced with curiosity.
"What's that" he asked, standing up and walking to the small closet of hers, which was slight opened.
Malu grabbed inside the closet and took out a notebook. "What's this?"
"Oh that" Lucina was internally cringing at his finding "That's a diary, I made when I was 7 years old" Malu's eyes brightened, and no hesitation opened it.
"Hey!" Lucina exclaimed, running to him trying to grab the notebook back. Malu was flipping page after page while pushing Lucina away from the book.
He continued flipping, not even reading it. Until, he landed on a page titled "Things I want to do before I turn 20" He read the list in his head
1. Get a puppy. Simple
2. Have my first kiss in the rain. Very specific
3. Have a movie date, under the stars, at Johnson's park. Again very specific
4. Dance at Sasha's Floor. Interesting
5. Have the lov-
The book was ripped out of his grasp before he could continue, Lucina looked at him, red faced, caused by anger and embarrassment.
"Malu!" she exclaimed "wh-" she was cut off
"Have you had your first kiss yet?" he bluntly asked
"What?"
"Have you had your first kiss yet?" he asked again
"What the fuck, why would you need to know the answer to that" Lucina asked, her cheeks reddening even more, than a while ago.
"So is that yes?"
"What, no! wait-, yes, no, I don't know! You don't need to know that" Malu was looking at her amused by her reaction. His eyes shining with joy
"Can you please stop looking at me?"
"I don't know, can I?" he teased
Lucina huffed at him, silence hugging the air. It was getting awkward and with a sign she looked at the time.
10:51pm
"It's getting late.." Lucina announced
"Oh yea" Malu agreed "I guess, its my time to go"
"yea.." Malu took his stuff and walked to the door. "I'll see you tomorrow, yea?"
Lucina nodded "yea" and the door closed.
