"MERLIN DRACO. WHAT THE HELL IS this?" Her lip curled as she looked at the...creation that stuck to the baking pan.

"I'm sorry!"

"What did you put in here?" Y/N asked as she opened up his apartment window to let the smoke out.

The other day Draco had invited his Mother and was planning on making cookies for her visit. That went terribly wrong.

He wasn't quite ready to live on his own and he wasn't used to cooking for himself given that he had house elves to that for him. But that was the past and he saw multiple fire extinguishers in his future.

After his failed attempt, he rushed to get his phone and called his girlfriend Y/N who he met over a cup of coffee. They got to know each other over time and he found out that Y/N was actually a student at Ilvermorny.

"I put butter." She nodded her head, signalling him to continue. "And eggs."

"How many eggs?"

"However many I had..." Draco mumbled, turning his head to look away from his girlfriend who looked at him in disbelief. She couldn't believe her ears.

"Didn't you just buy a carton of eggs yesterday?"

"...it'd be a lie if I said no.."

"Draco! There was instructions that came with the cookie mix"

"I threw away the instructions! I'm not going to have a bunch of words telling me how to live my life!"

"Do-" she sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Do you still have eggs?"

"Yes-what are you doing?!"

Y/N gathered the ingredients together and tossed her coat on Dracos sofa. Rolling up the sleeves of her sweater, she answered "We are making cookies."

The man only pouted and wrapped his arms around her waist, creeping up behind her as he rested his head in the crook of her neck. "What would I do without you?"

"Burn your apartment down-"

"Shhh-" He turned her around, placing his lips on hers as a way of keeping her quiet. "Now, what's first?"

"Stop eating that. It's raw and you're going to get sick." Draco scolded as Y/N began scooping cookie dough from the sides of the bowl. But it seemed that his words didn't affect Y/N given that she began slowly eating it in front of him.

He took the bowl away which only made her gasp. "Y/N!" Draco jumped as the woman slapped his ass, excess flour and raw cookie dough staining the man's trousers.

"What?" She laughed before running to the other side of the counter. "I saw a good opportunity and took it."

"Come back here!"

The cookies sat in the oven as the couple began to throw left over ingredients at each other. Their laughs echoed throughout the kitchen, all worries had been washed away with a simple touch.

"I got you!" He laughed, pinning her to the couch as he began to pepper the womans face with sweet kisses. Her soft lips were like a reward to him.

He knew he was in love.

Not for the money or the status.

He was simply in love because he wanted to spend every moment
with Y/N, no matter what he was doing. He wanted to see her happy, no matter how he felt.

"You should move in with me."

To say she was shocked by Dracos words would be an understatement. This was all so sudden. "Really?"

"Yes, really."

"Well then it looks like I'm moving in."

A smile broke out on the man's face and he enveloped the witch into a hug. "You won't regret this."

"I have an egg shell in my hair-"

And like what had previously happened, Draco shushed her with a kiss. Slow, but passionate.

But right before the two were going to do something more, something happened.

"Oh heavens!" Draco fell off the couch at the sound of his Mother's screech. She stood by the door, eyes wide as she took in what was before her. The kitchen was an absolute mess, smoke seemed to be appearing from the stove and she was currently confused as to who the {y/h/c} haired girl was.
