"WHAT'S GOT YOU SO ANXIOUS?" Pansy Parkinson asked Theodore Nott who sat across from her, right next to Draco.

Blaise and Draco looked up to see many emotions displayed on his face──nervousness being one of them. They exchanged looks, wondering what could get their, most of the time, overly excited friend so highly strung. "Mum sent a letter and apparently Y/Ns coming.

Draco began coughing.

Blaise tilted his head to the side while his friend was fighting for a proper breath, attracting the attention of most students who were also sat in the Great Hall. "You okay?"

Nope.

The poor boy was trying to process what he had just heard. You see, Y/N was Theodore Nott's younger sister and Draco just so happens to fancy her. Which wasn't a good thing considering she was the sister of one of his best friends. "I'm-fine-" he managed to get out between coughs.

"Shit-" Theo murmured as he noticed the time. "She'll be here soon. Have to look presentable before she tells mum."

Off went Theo as Blaise Zabini and Pansy Parkinson turned to the boy with grins and knowing looks. "Looks like Malfoy can finally spend more time with his girlfriend. Am I right or am I right, Pansy?"

"You're very much correct Blaise."

"Sod off you two." Draco rolled his eyes. "I don't like her."

"Explains the moving picture you have in your closet of he-"

Draco reached over the table to place his hand on his friends mouth. "Can you keep quiet for just a second! Anyone could hear you."

"Fine." Pansy huffed. "But everyone knows you like her and something will happen. My ship will sail."

"Our ship." Blaise corrected, grinning at how his friends pale face had gone red.

"Mrs. Nott is also waiting for you two to get together. Along with your Mother, Mrs. Zabini, Professor Snape, Mcgonagall, Crabbe, Goyle, Daphne─"

The flustered boy couldn't help but feel his heart flutter a little knowing that there was people who agreed with the thought of them being together. Even though he was aware that his best friend wouldn't approve of him getting with his sister.

It seemed that a lot of people had took an interest in the new girl given that most of the students would pay more attention to the {y/h/c} haired girl rather than their studies or where they were going.

She noticed this behavior but didn't interact much with the other students, considering Theo was always sending Blaise, Draco or Pansy to walk her to classes despite the fact that they were in different years.

Draco always volunteered to walk Y/N to her classes because he enjoyed talking to her and he didn't need to worry about whether he was late or not. (having Crabbe and Goyle cover for him). He liked the thought of being next to her, shooting looks at anyone who dared to look at her in a wrong way.
