Chapter 5 • Reunion

Noelle opens her eyes, shes in a jailcell, her hand is cuffed to the side of the bed

She looks around at everything around or, or rather, what little there is in the small cell shes held in right now

A small bed, a toliet and a mirror is all she gets, although this isnt much different then what she had at the bulls base

"About time" A voice yells and echos through her cell, Noelle looking up to see a very and truly unexpected sight

A tall white man, with short silver hair, his eyes a soft purple, dawning expensive clothing, stands outside of the cell of Noelle

"Father?" Noelle says as she turns to him, shocked that he's here, why would he be here?

"What do you want?" Noelle says as she looks away from him, a sigh coming from her father

"I'm here to talk about what's happening with that peasant, the one you've supposedly fallen for" Her father says as Noelle slightly blushes, but anger takes over her

"SO WHAT IF I HAVE?" Noelle yells as her father looks aggravated

"Noelle, that boy, he may have had some slight respect before, but now, after killing the Wizard King, and being the host of another devil, he should no longer be kept here" Her father says as Noelles heart drops, quickly turning to him

"How... how did you know?" Noelle says as her father gives her a piercing stare, a cold one she used to receive from Nozel

"We asked other bulls members, when we didn't get information, Marx preformed his memory magic on you, we found out not only why, but confirmation that he did" Her father says as Noelle starts to shed tears

"It's.... he can be redeemed, he's just confused and lost, Asta...." Noelle says as her father shakes his head

"He's beyond redeemable, not only a devil, but the murdered of our king? Tsh, that peasant trash never even had a chance of becoming king" her father says as he begins to walk away, Noelle becoming enraged with now Asta was being dragged through the dirt

"SHUT UP! HES WORKED HARDER THEN ANYONE ELSE! HES SAVED US MORE TIMES THEN WE CAN COUNT! AND ALL ANYONE DID WAS DRAG HIS NAME THROUGH THE MUD" Noelle yells with tears in her eyes as her father looks at her, shaking his head once more

"You're a lost cause as well, truly a shame to the Silva Family.... i'll never understand why my wife had to die protecting a piece of shit like you" Her father says with cold words and intent, them hitting Noelle in a soft spot, especially after learning more about her mother during the Spade War

As Noelles father walks off, he turns the corner and sees Nozel standing there, him having listened to the entire thing

"You can insult the peasant all you want, but watch your tone with Noelle" Nozel says as he walks past him, hitting him with his shoulder as he walks back up some stairs and into a giant room, one filled with numerous captains

Nozel walks to the front of the room, him looking at everyone there

Everyone, including others like Yuno, Mimosa, Leopold and even Mereoleona, sit in there including all captains

"We are here to discuss what to do about Asta, with news now coming out he has been possessed by another devil, filled with rage against us for having used him in the past, he seems to be a fugitive on the run after killing Julius" Nozel says as Yuno immediately stands up

Although Yuno is still a member of the Golden Dawn, he has taking small leadership in the Spade, getting ready to become king in a few months
