Chapter 6 • Who you are

"Asta?" Vanessa asks as what they think is Asta looks at them, his green eyes being replaced with a deep blue

"Hello, you two" Asta says as he gets up, cleaning his clothes as the two are confused

"Is this where you have been Asta? You need to come back, they know you've been taken over by a devil, and you just have to come back! Yami said he'd take your punishm-" Finral says as Asta stops him

"There's no coming back for me Finral, it's over, i'm done with the Clover Kingdom, I'm done with the bulls, it'd be better for me to just stay away" Asta says as he goes to walk out, but Vanessa stops him, placing her hand on his buff chest

"Asta... where's Nacht?" Vanessa asks as Asta looks away

"He went away to Spade, on a mission" Asta says as she looks suspicious, looking around

She takes out a communication device from her pocket, turning it on as she speaks into it

"Nacht?"

"Nacht?"

"It's here!" Finral says as he dashes into the basement, Asta turning to leave the house as Vanessa stops him once again

"You're hiding something, what is i-"

"NACHTTTT!" Finral is heard screaming from the basement as Vanessa quickly dashes into it, finding the dead body of Nacht

"No.... Nacht...." Vanessa says as she realizes what happened here

"ASTA!" Vanessa says as she runs up and sees Asta walking away, quickly summoning string

STRING MAGIC - UNBREAKABLE STRANDS!

Vanessa launches numerous strings at Asta to which he looks silently at, mouthing a word...

Disappear!

Right before Vanessas eyes, her magic is gone, both Finral and Vanessa shocked at this

"Please, i had to do it, leave me alone" Asta says as he continues to walk off, before Finral runs at him, getting ready to throw a punch

"HOW COULD YOU! I THOUGHT... I THOUGHT WE WERE FAMILY! WHY WOULD YOU KILL NACHT SI-" Finral yells as he's met with a swift punch to his nose, breaking it as he falls to the ground, unconscious

"Finral!" Vanessa yells as Asta stops her

"You know what's wrong with me, and what has happened, so go" Asta says as Vanessa, as much as she wants to stay, knows she doesn't stand a chance against Asta

"i'm sorry" Vanessa thinks as she presses a button on her communication device, before starting to talk to Asta

"I know what has happened, Yami told all of us of how they only wanted you for your power, but trust me when i say this, all of the black bulls loved you for who you are" Vanessa says as Asta nods, walking away from her and the knocked out Finral

"I know, thank you al-" Asta says as a portal opens next to him, then another, then another

Mutiple magic knights step out from all squads, all staring down Asta with revenge in their eyes

"You devil!"

"I'll kill you!"

"For Julius!"

All of them stare down Asta, with Captain Fuegoleon stepping out of one of the portals

"Thank you Vanessa, i know it was hard doing that to your old friend" Fuegoleon says as Asta turns to her, his eyes now filled with rage

"YOU LIAR!" Asta yells in rage as Vanessa backs up

"IM SORRY, I HAD TO DO IT, ITS THE ONLY WA-" Vanessa pleads with him as Asta shakes his head

"You all.... just made the biggest mistake of your lives" Asta says as a bright blue light starts to come from him

Lucifigus!

........

KABOOM!

A huge explosion erupts from Asta, turning the battlefield into ash...

The Faust household is blown away, almost every magic knight there is blown away and turned into dust

Asta stands at the center of it all, looking around at everyone, with only one magic knight left...

Fuegoleon stands, his leg has been blown off, with blood all over his body and dripping from his open wounds

"Asta..." Fuegoleon says as Asta goes over to him, stepping on his chest as he looks furious

"Don't speak another word bastard, i'm sending you to the afterlife" Asta says as Fuegoleon coughs out blood

"We shouldn't have trusted you... devil" Fuegoleon says as Asta takes out his sword, slicing Fuegoleons throat open as he starts to bleed out on the ground

"You shouldn't have fucked with the devil" Asta says as he takes his foot off of his chest, starting to walk off and into the distance...

Present day, A week after this incident

Noelle sits in a chair, surrounded by the captains

Ever since the death of Fuegoleon and nearly 100 magic knights at the Faust household incident, things have gotten darker, a turn for the worst

Yami has gone into a depression at not only Asta going rouge, but the death of two of his crew, not leaving his base or talking to anyone at all

Noelle has gotten even worse mentally, she knows she's shouldn't miss Asta, but she doesn't have a choice anymore, she has to bring him down... what is she supposed to do now?

Nozel has sent mutiple platoons of knights to go and exterminate Asta, but all come back in body bags, nobody is safe from Asta and his wrath

Nozel stands at the front of the table, looking around at the captains

"We need to do something about Asta, he's turned into a villain fugitive, it's safe to say the boy we once knew is now gone" Charlotte says as everyone nods in unison

"His power has gone through the roof, he's been noted as having blue eyes, a sign of his devil and him maybe having some contact now? or coming to a agreement? which isn't good at all" Nozel says as everyone looks grim at the table

"We can send captains to handle him, but what's to say it won't work?" Nozel says as he thinks, he thinks and thinks until he comes up with a new plan, one that's sure to work, either way it comes out

"Noelle, go and grab Yuno, i have a plan...." Nozel says as Noelle looks unsure of what's to come, but it isn't good....
