Chapter 9 • More to Life

Asta looks at Loropechikas sweet face, seeing her slowly walk up to him as she carry's a tray of food in her hand, placing it on the table next to him as she smiles, sitting down on the bed where Asta lays

"I found you outside of the palace, it seems like you passed out...?" She says Asta as he takes a bite out of the food that the Queen brought him

"You know don't you? About what's happened with me and the Clover Kingdom, i don't think it's a good idea for you to let me in like this, if they find out you had me here they co-" Asta says as Loropechika stops him

"I know what's happens Asta, but i also know this isn't like you, you're a kind and sweet boy, i'm sure this happened for a reason, so i won't try to kill you" Loropechika says as Asta nods, taking another bite of his food

"Do you want to talk to me about it?" She asks him curiosily as Asta nods, taking a deep breathe

"It was a normal day, another simple misson, well that's what i assumed it was, after the war had ended, well it turned out my mind had been invaded, and without me even knowing, the devil that had came into my mind had been changing me, it made me for irrational, short tempered, quick to violence, i didn't even see these changes in myself" Asta says as Loropechika looks at him, her face very curious

"What about... what about Liebe?" Loropechika asks Asta as he gets a sad face, one of both sadness and unknown

"It might be safe to assume... he's dead, if not dead, he's a prisoner within my mind, i haven't had no contact with him at all" Asta says as Loropechika gets a sad look on her face, placing her hand on his shoulder

"Oh Asta, i'm sorry for what has happened... and then?" She asks as Asta goes on

"Things went south from there, i accidentally killed a person, i found out i was only being used for my powers and they never planned to make me the Wizard King, i had killed a couple of more people close to me while he included by the devil in me... and i just want it to end already Loropechika" Asta says as tears leave his eyes, Loropechika sensing his sadness and wrapping her soft hands and arms around him, holding him close to her as he slowly hugs her back, knowing she wouldn't hurt him

"I'm sorry this has happened to you Asta" Loropechika says as Asta wipes his tears off his face, slowly separating from Loropechika as she looks at him

"They told me you had committed terrible acts, as they labeled you a threat from all the kingdoms, we were told to kill on sight but i couldn't kill you just like that, after what you and Noelle did to save me back then from Megicula and Vanica" Loropechika says with a smile

*As i'm writing this, Asta has just arrived at the fight with megicula at chapter 300 of black clover, in this timeline, Megicula is defeated by Asta and his friends and Loropechika is freed from her curse, going back to live a happy life*

"I see" Asta says as she nods, looking at him with a smile

"Well, although it would be dangerous, i'd like for you to stay here, i- i mean only if you want too" Loropechika says with a slight blush as Asta is confused, but accepts hesitantly

"I will, i won't be much bother to you, i'll just do as my own here, try to hide from them, just thank you for letting me stay" Asta says as he hugs Loropechika, his rough chest touching her soft chest, causing both of them to blush softly

"O-okay, just be careful with the citizens here, don't be too mean and don't kill" She says with a small smile as she walks out of the room, all of the spirt guardians waiting there for her as she looks at them

"We're keeping him here?" Floga says as She nods

"If you heard right, not only did they sort of lie to us, they failed to include the information he's possessed by a evil entity and that they were the ones who turned him into this" Loropechika says as the guardians disagree
