Chapter 14

Sawyer

"I'm selfish I know. But I don't ever wanna see you with him."

Those words echo through the whole club.

As Harry sings these words he makes direct eye contact with me. Almost like the words were meant for me.All I can do is stay frozen staring back up at him.

"I'm selfish, I know. I told you, but I know you never listen. I hope you can see. The shape that I'm in. While he's touching your skin."

Staring into his green eyes I am entranced by his words. I can feel everyone staring at us but I don't care. I can't help it.

Slowly Harry squats down on the stage and inches closer to me as I lean forward on the stage.

"He's right where I should, where I should be. But you're making me bleed."

We are so close to one another that I can see his cross necklace sway and the sweat drip down his chest. It takes everything in me not to yank the cross necklace and pull him closer. Every verse he sings goes straight between my legs and I don't care.

"Woman. Woman la-la-la-la-la. Wo-Woman. Woman. Woman. Woman la-la-la-la-la. Wo-Woman. Woman."

Licking his lips Harry smirks at me and stands back up. He grabs a hold of the mic stand and moves his body down it. As he slides down the stand, the button holding his jacket closed pops open, exposing his entire stomach.

My god the fern tattoos.

All I can think about is what it would be like to be that mic stand.

"Tempted, you know. Apologies are never gonna fix this. I'm empty, I know. And promises are broken like a stitch is."

He can break my back like a stitch, that's for sure.

"I hope you can see, the shape I've been in. While he's touching your skin. This thing upon me, howls like a beast. You flower, you feast."

As Mitch begins to play a killer guitar solo, I bring my attention to all my friends staring at me.

"Sawyer, is there something you would care to share with the group."

Looking at Alyssa I shrug my shoulders and chuckle. I guess it wasn't just me that noticed the sexual tension.

"Sawyer, Spencer and I have been to our fair share of Harry's shows and he has never done anything like that let alone even play his own music."

Feeling a bit overwhelmed I look back up at the stage to see Harry staring me up and down. As he takes in my outfit he motions for me to come closer to the stage.

Once I reach him I prop my elbows on the stage and stare into his green eyes.

"Hello love. Did you enjoy the song?"

Speechless I bite my lip and shake my head yes.

"What did I tell you about using your words love?"

Here we go again.

"Yes I did Harry. Why does it matter what I think?"

I can't believe I said that. I mean to be fair he was a dick to me the other day. Still mad at him for that fyi.

"Trust me love it doesn't. I just like to hear what my fans have to say."

Oh so i'm a "fan" now.

Dick move.

As soon as those words leave his mouth I turn around to make my way back to my friends. Just as I start to move Harry reaches out and grabs my arm.

"We weren't done yet, love. Meet me backstage after the concert. That's not a request either."

All sense of dignity leaves my body as I shake my head up and down. My brain decides one thing and does another when I'm around him.

He makes me nervous yet content at the same time.

Just when I thought things couldn't get weirder, the LED lights switch back to green and Medicine begins to play the rest of their set.

Why the light change again?

Walking back to everyone I can already feel the questions burning in everyone's mind. This is going to take all my energy.

"Everyone I know you have questions. Trust me so do I but let's postpone them to tomorrow k?"

Out of the corner of my eyes I see Niall chuckling to himself.

"What's so funny Irish princess?"

"Sawyer is getting out of her dry spell. Never thought I'd see that day come."

If I make it out of this club alive tonight after seeing Harry I may just have to kill Niall.
