Chapter 19: Where my journey ends

3rd POV

Remnant. Numerous changes have occurred ever since the battle with Salem her temporary demise as the key-changing factor for Ozpin to bring back humanity to its roots. Ozpin and the people that are a part of his plan have found two relics. The relic of Creation, and the relic of Knowledge. They continue the search for the remaining two relics and they still have a month or two before Salem awakens once more from her recovery state.

Beacon Academy

Right now, Y/N was just taking a break in his room while the rest of his friends are on a mission but are expected to come back today.

Y/N: It's almost over... I wonder where Eloi is at right now.

Y/N then stands up and goes to inspect his blade. Y/N has done inspections with his weapon numerous times however, up to this day he still wonders why this mysterious blade in the forest chose him as its host. He slides his finger slowly from the tip to the handle and suddenly gained visions once more of the man that held the same blade before.

??: Y/N.

Y/N's eyes started to glow white while his movement was restrained. He then tries to speak to finally face this mysterious figure

Y/N: Who. Are you?

??: Just listen Y/N.

He gets a grip of Y/N's hand and motions it to the blade's handle and lets him grip it.

??: Never, let go of this blade Y/N.

The man then pushes him causing him to regain his senses.

Y/N: *shouts* Holy shit... What the fuck.

He places his weapon on the bed and speaks up to come in contact with the mysterious man.

Y/N: Please. Show yourself! I need answers!

Y/N didn't receive any response and this frustration started to grow on Y/N.

Y/N: Damn it.

He gets his sword and decides to head out of his room. Y/N decided to stay in the center grounds of Beacon to surprise his friends and also ease his mind from the visions earlier. He tries to imagine what the man looked like once more in his head but the figure was still a blur in his mind.

Y/N: What are you...

??: Y/N!

He was interrupted when someone called his attention. As he looked to his left, it was Yang running to him while Team RWBY and JNPR were behind her. She dives to Y/N as he was able to catch her and proceeded to snuggle her cheeks.

Y/N: Hey hotshot. How was the mission?

He said this while lifting Yang on her feet and following it with a peck on the lips.

Yang: We found a lead on where the relic of Destruction. They said it could be found under Shade Academy so tomorrow, we gonna head out once more. How about you Y/N, anything special that happened today?

Y/N was about to speak but another voice interrupts him but through his mind.

??: Y/N? Can you hear me?

Y/N looked behind him to check where the voice came from.

Yang: Hey... you feeling okay?

Y/N: Oh yeah, I'm doing fine. Gonna have to get back to you babe. Need to answer this call. I promise I'll talk to you later back in the dormitory okay?

Yang: ... Okay then.

Y/N nods and gives Yang another kiss on the cheek. He then went to Beacon cliff to call out the other voice
