"Enough Ryuk," Rem interupted. "You go on and on everyday about this Light character, but never do anything about it. It's a bore, honestly." The annoyance on her face stung Ryuk a bit, but his fixation for Yagami prevailed.
"Well, what ever is there to do, Rem?" he asked. She pursed her lips and contemplated.
"Well... theoretically of course... what if Light were to, oh, I don't know, stumble across your second Deathnote?" she said, jokingly. Ryuk raised his brows.
"Wait, that would work. He would be able to see me, and I could be close to him," he replied excitedly. Rem stared blankly at Ryuk.
"You're joking right?" Ryuk shook his head.
"No, no, Rem I think this could work out lovely!"
"Oh, Ryuk, this is in poor taste..." Rem said. But before she even finished, he was gone.
