"MIKASA!" YOU CALL OUT to the raven haired girl still remaining her position there ahead of the bakery. Upon seeing you, she smiled and took several steps closer to you as you approached. "What are you doing here?"
"Your uncle Kenny had some things to do in the city and he wanted to visit you guys but then he got caught in a meeting," Mikasa began to explain, "And I decided to stop by because he wanted some pastries from your family's bakery.."
You observed her face, peering into her eyes and noticing how she was holding back her welled tears. Eren was inside and at the back so he wouldn't see Mikasa but who knew when he would come out and see you both together.
Though you were certain that she saw Eren, you decided to make sure by questioning her, "why didn't you come inside? Is something the matter?"
"I.. I saw Eren just moments ago," Mikasa replies in a faint voice as her head lowers to the ground. So you were right. You reached for her hands, giving it a gentle squeeze in which earned her attention on you.
When Mikasa had arrived, she was already hesitant to enter. But that's when she saw Eren through the window, with his big smile and approaching you. She also saw Armin and she was delighted to know that the two were still together.
"You can wait out here if you want, I know my uncle's favorite pastries and I'll go get them quick," You suggest and Mikasa nods her head, grinning a bit. "Thank you, Y/n," she says.
You give her a nod but before you could leave, another car approaches. You didn't focus too much on the vehicle but you saw a familiar face step out, causing you to pause in your tracks and turn towards the direction of the person whom arrived.
