Y/N's mother bid goodbye to her daughter, who just rolled her eyes upon hearing the elder's remarks with the company she cursed every night. She layed down the carpeted floor of the living room, stretching her limbs out.
"Just like everynight, dinner's-" "On the fridge. Just reheat it at 8 and eat at 8:20. Then, make sure to sleep before 10." Y/N inturrupted, looking over her mom who stood by the front doorway that had hanging strips of papers, black and orange to be exact.
"Im glad you know it already." Mrs. Lee winked before walking out the door and into the loud Halloween night. "And by the way, only one candy for every trick or treater that comes!" She shouted from the street, although muffuled by the booming music and kids screaming.
Upon hearing the door close, Y/N groaned in sense of boredom. She sat her being up and faced the TV once again, playing a classic horror movie. War of the Worlds to be specific, the same old movie they play every Halloween night.
Besides the lamp at the corner, the TV was the only source of light in the unlit living room. The brightest light coming from the foyer and kitchen lightbulb.
So we can't really blame her when she didn't notice that her phone buzzed an incoming message.
The young girl picked her phone from the floor, seeing that it was a message from someone.
