GENRE: FLUFF
LOSERS IN LOVE - SEO WOOBIN
There are somethings we only miss when it's gone. Like how we miss the sun when it starts to snow, how we miss home when were on the road, and when we only love somebody when they're already in somebody's else's arms.
Woobin watched the beautiful woman in white walk towards the altar inside the beautiful church— it was a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding. He was seated at the front row near where the groom and the bride would sit, he was there to support his best friend Serim.
He tried not to get teary eyed— but he of course did, even somebody with stone cold feelings would be moved at the sight of their childhood friend being married to the girl of his dreams. Woobin wiped the tears with his finger before smiling back at Serim who too was about to cry, looking at each other.
They all watched in awe as the woman approached the the altar where finally she'd get to hold her prince charming, the view even becoming more glorious by the background music of the choir— Woobin himself had offered to sing but Serim told that he'd prefer him seated at the front row.
Finally, the draped white frabics had came to a stop after the woman sat down beside Serim, beginning the ceremony.
Woobin was supposed to be looking at those in front of course— it was their special day and all attention should be at the couple but his eyes couldn't help but divert to the young-looking girl seated at the same row as him. She just sat at the other side.
Well that's a young maid of honor, He figured as he realized that she sat at the same seat as him. The girl was wearing a short white dress, the typical ones you wear at church— a white top with lace that extends to the sleeves while the bottom was a short knee level skirt with at least three layers. Long socks and black heels with ribbons.
The girl soon looked at Woobin's direction, finally getting the courage to do so since she noticed that the moment she stepped into the church? The man was already stealing glances at her.
She waved at the most awkward way possible, even more awkward than seeing adults cry but Woobin didn't mind— he did mind it, alot. His heart began pumping faster, cheeks began burning— not so typical emotions for somebody who doesn't even laugh at Mean Girls.
Woobin raised his hands, waving it left and right three times with a slight smile before looking away. The stanger just smiled back, but the latter wasn't looking to see the sweet grin.
The ceremony went on and it wasn't just glances they shared— looks, smiles, thoughts even. Woobin remember when she rubbed her belly, signalling that she's already hungry, at least that's what he thought she meant. Woobin too signalled the latter, rolling his eyes to tell her that he's bored.
It was tiny parts where happiness sparked between them— not so normal emotions for somebody who lived in sorrow and pain. Like stars in the sky, little shining stars that when gathered into one dark sky would make a masterpiece that would even make the darkest eyes sparkle.
