Kai's POV
im here at the club. its 10 pm now but i have no plan on getting home yet and witness how sweet they are. call me bitter or anything you want but i wont put up with it.
" kai youve been drinking non-stop. look at this! youve finished 6 bottles already." d.o. tried to get the bottle from my hand but i shrugged his hand off.
" tell me kai what really is your problem dude? were bestfriends so dont you dare keep secrets from me" d.o said furrowing his eyebrows waiting for me to say something.anything.
i sighed. " do you really want to?"
he nodded.sipping from his juice that he ordered a while ago.yes he doesnt drink. i better tell him since i dragged him here without saying anything.im glad he came with me though.
i dropped the bottle of soju in my hand " look d.o i never told this to anyone but----- i love jea. i loved her even before we started staying at her house."
d.o was just silent. his mind still processing what his bestfriend kai just told him. did he just heard it right? kai loves jea?! this cant be.
" what? are you just gonna stare at me like that??" he was just there staring at me like he's somehow horrified about what i just said.aish~ i grabbed the soju again then chugged it down finishing another bottle.
i just can believe it. i know its easy to fall for someone like jea but i didnt expect kai to love her. my own bestfriend among us all, loving the girl i also love is just too insane to even think about. how am i supposed to care for him if the reason of him hurting is jea.
" i-im sorry kai" d.o snapped off his thoughts. he knows that its not the right time to think about anything else but his bestfriends feeling.
" will you please stop saying that! ive heard enough of sorry's for this day" ive heard it many times from jea.i dont need any pity from anyone else.
" soo.. what are you planning to do now? you know you cant just make those two separate. we all know they love each other * but i love her much more*"
" i dont know d.o. that's why youre here~ you'll help me.i just have to move on for now but you and i both know that's not going to be easy. its not easy to forget someone as crazily beautiful and kind like her." i smiled at the thought of her beautiful smile. that smile that had captured my heart.
" you know. why dont you just find someone else~ were here in the club arent we? go find someone to use for your heartache." d.o said sarcasticly.
he himself dont really know what kind of advice to give to his friend. just like him his also having a hard time showing jea his true feelings. guess he just isnt like kai whose always been bold about what he feels.
kai thought for a while and finished his last bottle of soju and got up " you know what. that can be a good idea. be right back d.o i'll go catch some fish" kai said feeling a little bit tipsy from drinking but still tried to walk even though he's already bumping some people.
~aish this guy. i wasnt serious 'bout what i just said though.well i cant do anything about it.he needs this. he needs to release everything but not here.
d.o. went through the crowd. he have got to push his way in to get through them since the dance floor is pretty much crowded and due to his height he managed to go where kai is.
he was dancing as if he's not drunk at all.he sure still got moves even he's in this state.
d.o. dragged him away from the booming music then tossed some cash to the bar counter on his way out.
" where are we?" kai said groggily. his head spinning from all the soju he just drank.
" if i werent really your bestfriend i wouldve left you there and make a fool out of yourself till you just wake up and pay for everything you drank" d.o. scolded kai whose burying his head on d.o's shoulder.
" hey! are you even listening?"
" shiahsiiyhibddkj" kai mumbled nothings.
" i didnt brought you here to sleep in my shoulders you kkamjong~! go there near the railings and sream"
" huh? why would i scream you crazy owl.hahaha *hik " kai was pointing at d.o then straightened his self up.
" scream what you feel. although the pain wouldnt be gone it would atleast be lessen." d.o gave kai a meaningful smile.
kai got the message then inhaled deeply.
" j-jea joong!!! although i knew from the start that i dont have any chance with you i still tried my best to show my feelings till the end~! i love you very much! i love you and it hurts my like hell to not have you! i really dont know why fate brought us together but thanks to that fate i met someone like you... " kai yelled on top of his lungs.. tears starting to fall.
" when will i ever meet someone like you.... when will i ever meet someone that isnt taken by someone else" he mumbled the last part. it was so cold and when he felt that his feelings were all calmed down he turned around and went to d.o.
" come on. i think im fine now. its getting cold.why did you even brought me here in this rooftop" kai messed up d.o's hair then started to walk away.
