Anirudh Roy Chaudhary👨‍🎓👨‍🎓

Hello Everyone, first of all this is not an OS but is like an appreciation for our own Anirudh Roy Chaudhary. I do not know how his behavior will be after the leap but I just want to summarize what ARC has been like in the past 1.5 years, the old ARC we all adore. So lets start:-

Anirudh Roy Chaudhary, a London studied gold medalist barrister came back to his country to make changes in the society and to marry his childhood love. But he ends up marrying an eight year old girl. He did not give it a second thought and just leapt into the matter to save that little girl from being burnt alive. He did not even think once that he wants to marry another girl. And then, what after that? There was no looking behind. He pledged to himself and to the society and to her mother to take her responsibility and fullfill it his whole life. And that iconic line in which the whole essence lies in, "Chaya to sirf roshni mein saath deti hai, lekin main Anirudh Roy Chaudhary iska andhkaar mein bhi saath dunga." And he did keep his promise. 

 He respects women, does not discriminate between high caste and low caste, believes in only one cast and that of a human, stands for the right and the most important thing gives equal position and respect to his wife in the era where wives were not even allowed to look straight to their husbands. He has passed on all these things to Bondita too and has made her capable to stand for herself, for the women and for the right. He is the kind of a person every society needs. He is the kind of a person who we need to make this world a better place to live in. He has been a person who has his own ideals and he tries his best to do everything under them. Talking of his ideals, he was always of the view that a man should always marry one women only. If he marries two or more women, then he belongs to none of them and is not allowed to be given respect to. And he sticked to it. He married Bondita and then though with a lot of difficulty  made himself understand that he cannot marry Saudamini . Because in that way, neither would Saudamini get her rights nor would Bondita. If he wanted he could marry her because Bondita was too small to understand all these things, but he didn't. Why? Because his ideal did not permit him to do so. Isn't he an inspiration for all? 

Now, coming to the most important part of his life, Bondita. We all have seen our Anidita grow from strangers to husband wife to friends and then to best friends who share everything with each other, who care the most about each other's happiness, who can sacrifice their life for each other and who cannot bear a drop of tear in the other person's eye. We have seen them go together through ups and downs. We have seen them being the support of each other in the toughest phases. They both have come a long way from "apni maa ki bondita" to "apne sakha babu/ pati babu ki bondita", from" meri maa meri bhagwaan hai" to "mere sakha babu/ pati babu mere bhagwaan hai." And their way of apologising to each other, isn't it the cutest thing ever? 

ARC has always been the guiding light of bondita's life. From bedwetting track to heera mandi track. From school track to shubhra maa track. When everyone in the family thought of bondita's betdwetting problem as a curse, he was the one who stood with her. He was the one who used to clean her bedsheets. He was the one who used to keep studying the books of medicine to find a solution for it,  did not care even once about his life while performing the jadugar's role when he left a snake towards him. His only motive was to take out bondita from the fear she is going through.  And most importantly the journey from pati babu to sakha babu. Though we might hate this word "sakha babu"  but haven't we experienced some of the most beautiful things during this phase? Haven't we seen the amount of faith they show in each other in the most challenging times. Haven't we seen Anirudh leaving everything behind and just focussing on  bondita. Haven't we seen him getting beaten without any hesitation just for her sake and at last trying his best to reach to her be it by being under the disguise of roopa or by inventing new methods to make sure she continues her studies.

Okay now talking about that track which was hated by most of the people and which lead to the loss of such a good trp. Yes, the manorama track. Lets start from the beginning of the track. What was happening? Bondita started diverting her attention from studies to being a " kushal grehni" and a "kushal patni" as imposed by the society. Although it was not her fault and she didn't have any idea of what the society was expecting. This was the result of the society's manipulations. and anirudh tried his best to explain this thing to her but failed. So, he had no other option than marrying manorma and making bondita hate him so she could focus on studies. Yes, he was wrong but think once, had he have any other intention than to make bondita independent and to make her focus in studies? Yes, he made her cry but we cannot deny the fact that he too cried with her. He cried at every single thought of hurting his jeene ki wajah. And if you say about the attraction of anirudh towards manorma, it was not attraction towards her but towards her bravery, her will power, her patriotism. When manorma called him to ask him to marry her for her muhim, what did he say? He said that he cannot do so. His focus is only on bondita. We also saw that while coming back that night, he said to himself, " aage se ab kabhi bhi agar aisa kuch mehsoos hoga, main apne aap ko us soch se hatunga aur apna saara dhyaan bondita par lagaunga." This clearly indicated that he had no intention of marrying her before but he had to do this for the sake of bondita's future.

Next important thing that I will come to is the word "zimmedari". Isn't it the most used word by Anirudh and probably the most hated word by us?? But let's try to understamd once the meaning of this word from Anirudh's POV. He married her saying that she will be her responsibility for the whole life. And responsibility not always means 'bojh'. We as a children are the responsibility of our parents, a person is directly or indirectly a responsibility of someone who cares for him, who wants good for him, who wants to see that person on a good spot. Isn't it?? Then what is wrong in this?? And it is not like that this word caused any hinderance in Anidita's growing relationship. It infact made it better. If  ARC is so attached to his zimmedaari who has slowly grown to be his 'jeene ki wajah' and 'jeene ka maksad', then think what will happen when he will actually think of her as his life partner when she grows up.

Now coming on to Anirudh's teachings to bondita. We cannot deny the fact that even in his absence, the teachings helped bondita to survive in some of the worst phases of her life. To take an example, whatever Anirudh taught to her about education, its benefits, its importance, didn't it help bondita to keep trying to study even after so many restrictions by thakuma? Didn't it boost her self confidence when she was the only one who could read and write in the whole das family? Didn't it help her to secretly write to anirudh whenever needed?

Summing up, the only thing I can say is that we lived with ARC, we saw his ups and downs. It was a beautiful journey and a beautiful memory we all will cherish. I am not saying not to watch the show after the leap. The purpose of this chapter was only to recollect all the memories of our beloved ANIRUDH ROY CHAUDHARY and we all thank him for becoming Bondita's Pati Babu, Rakshak Babu, Rakshas Babu, Jaadugar Babu, Aaina Babu, Sakha babu, Birristra Babu and most importantly Bondita's Bhagwaan.

I was listening to Rishta Tera Mera playlist while writing this and I got goosebumps and I am very emotional right now. It feels like it has been so many years that we are connected to the show. Can't believe that we will not be able to see our Aurrisht's cute bts pictures anymore. Can't believe that we will not get more pol khol interviews of them.😭😭😭😭 I will not be able to write more now.🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺And yes, the next update too will not be an OS but will be an another special one.  So, stay tuned!!💕💕💕
