Chapter 3

When I got home, I was greeted by my mom, who is as cheerful as ever with my dad who is always being lovey-dovey with her, oh I envy them so much! So my dad's name is Michael, he's a full-breed (Werewolf), he has blonde hair, hazelnut eyes, slightly tan skin, a height of 6'7", a baby face, and a title of "former Alpha" ( he said he retired when he married mom, I ENVY them)

I sat with them at our living and we were watching Spongebob Squarepants yay! I don't know what got into me but I asked my parents on how they met each other. My dad said "Well sweetie, I met your mom when I was in the Philippines for a pack meeting, at first I just thought I had a certain crush on her because my eyes would never leave her" I looked at my mom and she was blushing " But when we touched and I felt these electric shocks, I already knew she was my mate" he smiled at the memory, I looked at them both, they were looking at each other lovingly and I was glad they were my parents.

But of course being the weird me, I asked for more details about the word "MATE", I knew that a mate was our other half, destined to be with us for the rest of our lives. They always told

me that even just the slightest bit of separation from them, you'll feel empty, and when their gone, you'll want to be gone and be with them wherever they are. Then a realization hit me, dad said that he felt electric shocks when they touched, Caspar?! No that's too impossible, so I asked my dad again.

"Dad, you said you felt electric shocks with mom right?" he nodded " How come you knew that she was your mate and since in our world, being with a human is NOT allowed then why?" they looked at each other and laughed, well, let's just say that I was dumbfounded. "Honey, yes I know that being with a human is not allowed especially a relationship like ours, and to be honest your mother and I had a hard time dealing with the people, we even tried to seperate so that they won't hurt your mom and say bad things about her, but we just can't be seperated after an hour we came looking for each other" my dad laughed after finishing that sentence.

Then here's my mom's time to shine she said "My child, whenever your dad has a girl near him I would feel a sharp pain in my heart and try to get back at him by hanging out with male Werewolves, he would always glare at them and hug me in front of them, then he'd say MINE! very loud" this time I was laughing and I saw my dad blushing so now he looks like a tomato Hahaha. "Dad, you and mom really beat the odds huh? I wish my mate would accept me even if I was a half-breed" I sighed. My parents saw my saddened face then as if it was scripted they both said at the same time "let's buy chocolate, cookies and cream, and rocky road flavored ice creams and have a movie marathon!" I grinned widely at their idea and literally dragged them to the nearby store.

Mom and dad were at the cashier paying for the food we bought, while I was at the 'Magz Corner' and reading the latest gossip and stuff when one of the guys working there approached me and said "Uhm hi miss, we sure have a nice weather today huh?" I looked at him weirdly since I know people here don't like humans and I saw that he was really good-looking, he has dirty blonde hair, green eyes, slightly tanned and muscled body, a tall stature (6'4") so I said "Uh yeah I guess? May I ask why are you talking to me?" he smiled at me then said "who wouldn't want to talk to a very beautiful lady like you?" I blushed and said "Well you do know that I'm a half breed right? I mean you can smell human from me, then why?" this time he grinned "I don't care if you're a half-breed, as long as I think that you're a nice person, I'll talk to you. So uhm my name's Alexander Bryan Reese." he said with a huge smile "Well, I'm Veronica Ace Winters, and as far as I know you are the first peron EVER to have the guts to talk to me, thank you for that, so uhm nice to meet you?" I held out my hand "nice to meet you too, beautiful, I don't get why those people have the guts to talk to you when you're the most fragile and delicate looking flower I have ever seen" he smiled AGAIN and shook my hand.

By now my parents have already finished paying and went to where I was and saw me talking (and blushing) to Xander (as I'd like to call him) he politely greeted my parents and introduced himself to them, and from the looks of it, my parents looked really happy and glad at the same time. We exchanged numbers and we said our goodbyes, so now were heading to our house to eat some AAIS KARIIIIM! (Ice cream) and watch some movies till the end of the world! Just kidding.

Someone's P.O.V

"Who the heck does that guy think he is? Making MY mate blush like that?! I am the ONLY ONE allowed to make her blush!" I punched the wall next to me and it crumbled to pieces as expected. I went back home furious of that stupid guy trying to make a move on her, she's MINE!

Parents's P.O.V

"Mike when do you think will we be able to tell our little princess that she isn't like the others?" 

"Jam when she's reached the desired age for her race, and when that happens we'll tell her everything" 

"I guess you're right Mike, let's just hope she doesn't let these obstacles be a hindrance to her" 

"She will get by all these obstacles Jam, she's our daughter after all" 

"But she always gets bullied, and I read her mind a little while ago I read that she punched and possibly broke the nose and jaw of one of the "minions" of the Alpha, because he involved me in his sentence, she punched him HARD" 

"Hahaha she really is strong, she reminds me of you darling" 

"Well let's just say that we the Winters women are too strong for our own good" 

"Can't help but agree on that one love, now let's just bring our daughter to her room and get to our bed and sleep as well" 

"will do honey, will do"
