New Beginning

Chapter 5

When we arrived at home, we were surprised to see my mom and dad making out on the couch. I looked at Xander and he was as shocked as I was, the next thing I knew we laughed really loud making my parents jump up in surprise. When mom and dad composed themselves they came to greet us with a smile and acted as if nothing happened, but when they saw my face (swollen eyes and puffy cheeks from all the crying) and Xander's drenched shirt they engulfed me in a hug and let Xander sit on the couch.

I told my dad to let Xander borrow one of his shirt, and mom to bring some snacks to eat since I was already getting hungry from the events that happened before. After Xander changed, I explained everything that happened before, from the part where Ass Face said that he was my mate, to the part where he humiliated me in front of the whole student body. After I explained everything, dad and Xander were growling in rage and my mom hugged me and telling me that it's gonna be okay and that he doesn't deserve me.

My parents and Xander did a great job in making me happy but not THAT happy, we baked chocolate oatmeal cookies, ate chocolate ice cream, had a movie marathon, and we had a chat about ourselves. Mom showed Xander my EMBARRASSING childhood pictures: the first one was when I had chocolate all over my face, the other one which involves me trying to eat the microphone, third, where I was eyeing the chocolate cake for my first birthday, and alot more. We even watched my childhood videos : where I was climbing out of the bed when I was just 6 months, where I was having a growling competition with Maxxy, etc. etc. etc.

I learned that my parents had their first born baby (possibly my older brother by a year) get kidnapped which is pretty devastating since I always wanted an older brother that will be protective of me when some Ass Face of a mate hurts/bullies/humiliates/embarrasses me. I also learned that Xander is currently living alone 'cuz both of his parents died when he was still a baby, he said that it was fine though, but of course being me, I hugged him and kissed him on his forehead, making him smile.

It was already 6 in the evening when I remembered the thing that I forgot to tell them. "Mom, dad, and Xander I want to drop out of Raven High 'cuz I won't be able to forget him and hold back my tears if I see my Ass Face of a mate everyday in that 24/7 in Hell school" 

"Honey, okay we'll just arrange your papers, but what about your education?" 

"Mr. and Mrs. Winters, um if she'd like to, I can just home school her" Xander said shyly 

"That would be great son! Atleast our daughter won't get lonely or bored while she's here" my dad said happily 

"Mom, Dad can Xander stay for the night here? He can sleep to the room next to mine right?" I said with my puppy-dog face since I know they can't resist 

"Okay, he can, since he did do us a favor of helping you a while ago" my parents said kindly 

"Yay! thanks Mom and Dad!" I hugged and kissed both of my parents and took Xander to the kitchen since it was already dinner time and my tummy was rumbling wildly

I feel like my parents really like Xander, it's like they have that bond of real parents and son. I'm happy to see them happy too, 'cause Xander's parents died whilst my parents lost my older bro, so I think that's why they really like Xander 'cause he's like the son they lost, and Xander can experience the love and warmth of a family with my parents. I didn't realize the time when mom and dad told us to sleep since it was already 9 in the evening.

It's a Saturday morning and I was having breakfast with mom, dad, Xander, and Maxxy(my dog). We ate pancakes with chocolate syrup, bacon and eggs, fried rice, and I had chocolate smoothie while they had orange juice.
