Did You Miss Me?

First Date

A/N: So it's been a very long time since I last updated and I'm sorry for that because since it's our finals I had to do ALOT of projects, requirements, reports, presentations, blah blah blah. They sound like lame excuses but blah I'll just make it up to you *wiggles brows*

Chapter 19

I woke up to see him still asleep. He looks so innocent with his eyes closed, up until now I still can't believe that the person whom I just admired from afar before is now this perfect creature sleeping soundly in my arms. I reached for his chin feeling his stubble, he opened up his eyes and kissed my hand.

"Good morning beautiful" he said

"Good morning handsome, had a nice sleep?"

"Baby, this is the best sleep I ever had since I was made by my parents and soon to be yours too" he winked then hugged me

We slept again for another hour or so and by the time we woke up it was already lunch time. We both got up lazily, took a shower, put our clothes on, and headed for our kitchen to eat with my family. Dad and mom were there smiling at us and now that I think about it, my kuya (big brother) isn't here yet. I just hope that there won't be a brawl when these two finally meet again. Mom cooked Adobo, Sinigang, and Sisig (Filipino dishes) and of course rice, while Dad prepared the table.

We had a chat after eating and it seems that my parents really approves and likes Caspar, I'm just not really that reassured about my kuya *sigh*. I snapped back to reality and the next thing I know, Caspar is asking permission from my parents if we could go on a date. I was surprised enough to hear that, but I was shocked to see my Mom tear up *jaw drops*. They both hugged him which I guess means that they allowed us to go on a date and that they're very happy about it *Captain obvious strikes again*

We went back to my room since I'll have to doll myself up for our first date (even a boyish girl like me needs to make herself hot on her first date *wink*)

"Baby, I'll come pick you up after 30 minutes? That okay with you?" He asked while tucking my stay strand of hair at the back of my ear

"Okay baby, 30 minutes is already a lot of time, I ain't as slow as those other girls"

He chuckled "I know baby, I know. That's why I fell in love with you and I won't ever let you go" then he kissed me

When he got out of the room, I quickly turned on my iPod and blasted my favorite songs. After taking a bath, I went to my walk-in closet and picked a band tank for my top, acid washed Aztec shorts for my bottoms and black high cut converse for my footwear. I just let my hair dry by itself and as for my makeup I just put some powder, eyeliner and mascara on since I'm not the "clown"makeup type of girl, I just like to make things simple yet with a touch of me.

I'm all set and I still have 10 minutes to spare, so I got my brush and pretended it was a microphone and that's how my mini concert began whereas I was interrupted by my wide-eyed mom coming into my room

"Honey, you look so beautiful but aren't you gonna put some accessories on?"

"Oh you're right mama, thanks" I hugged her then put on my watch

"You're not gonna add anymore?" I shrugged

"Honey, I've got the right necklace for your outfit" she grabbed my hand and abducted me to their room (not really)

She went to her necklace frame (a DIY I made for her) and she got the most beautiful necklace I have ever seen in my entire life. I'm not exaggerating, I mean it was really BEAUTIFUL and it really does match with my outfit.

"Ace, this is a family heirloom passed to me from my mom and was passed to her by my lola (grandma) and was passed to her by my lola sa tuhod (great grandma) and so on and so on. Now it is time for me to pass it to you darling" then she placed the heirloom neatly around my neck
