Chapter 10

I saw my light blue eyes shift to different colors :red,purple,green,orange, yellow, blue,black, and brown. Then it stopped, and my eyes were now a different color, my left eye turned purple while the other eye turned dark blue.

My skin color also changed, I became paler, waaaaay paler. And my height! I think I grew taller, I immediately went to the height thingy and I saw that I grew 3 inches! I went back to the mirror to see if I changed more. Then I noticed I became thinner and my curves grew bigger (if you know what I mean) I checked my weight at the weighing scale and I lost 10 pounds!

And my hair, its color and length also changed. From my short, shoulder length auburn hair, it became a long stomach length fiery red hair! And then I noticed my teeth, from the perfect set of pearly whites because of the 4 years of having braces, my canines/fangs grew!

I was kind of freaking out I guess, so I immediately went to the living room hoping to find my family and luckily they were there

"Uhm mom, dad, Xander? I think I'm hallucinating"

All of them looked at me

"I think I don't look like the way I was before" I said in a shaky voice

"So you've finally transformed to your true form honey" my dad said

"I don't get it, I mean I saw my eyes turn to rainbow colors, I lost weight without even exercising, I grew taller, I became waaay paler and these *pointed to my boobs and butt* grew bigger (I wasn't shy about those parts being pointed by me in front of my dad and brother since I'm comfortable with them and they don't mind [please be open-minded]), these too grew *showed them the long fangs*, does this mean that I can't eat my favorite food anymore?" I said

They laughed at me

"Ace, I think it's time that we tell you the truth" my mom said

"Wait! Please don't tell me that I'm an adopted weirdo kid" I said sadly

"Hahahaha! No honey, you're not an adopted weirdo kid"

"Yay! I thought you'd tell me that I was just picked up from cow/carabao poop"

"It's time to be serious" my dad said

I just nodded

"It's about your true form" my mom said

"I know that I'm a half-breed mom, wait, is the court trying to get rid of me?"

"No sweetie, the court is not trying to get rid of you"

"Then what?"

"Truth is, your mom is not really a human. In fact, she's a royal-blooded vampire whose race is really rare these days. We wanted to protect you that's why we hid the fact that you're a Verewolf" my dad said

"Oh okay, so mom's a Va- WAIT WHAT!? Mom's a Vamp and a Royal-Blood at that and I'm a Verewolf who was made to think that she was half-breed?!"

"We're very sorry honey, it's the best thing that we could do for you" my mom said sadly

The next thing I knew, my mom transformed. She had reddish brown eyes, longer brunette hair, paler skin, taller stature, slimmer than ever, and her fangs grew but went to its normal size again, I was amazed by how my mother looks like now, she's waaaay beautiful!

"I guess I'll just have to get used to it huh? I mean your Vampish features"

My mom just smiled

"If mom's a Vamp, then how can she stand the heat/rays of the sun?"

"Royal-Blooded Vamps have the ability to withstand heat, thus making them very powerful" my dad explained

"Oooooh"

"So how do I live then?" I asked them

"You can survive on either Werewolf or Vampire food, you'll be sent to an academy to be able to control your powers and learn to protect yourself, you'll be staying there for 2 years. Is that okay with you?" my dad asked

"Yeah, I guess that's fine. Then how about my other half? Is it going to be a mate or a Vampy mate or whatever their mate is called?"

"You'll have to watch and learn" my dad said slyly

"Awww phooey!" I pouted "When and where am I gonna go? And who am I gonna go with?"

"You'll be coming with Kyle" my brother said

"And you'll be leaving the day after tomorrow" my dad said

"Why so soon? Well I guess that's better than tomorrow"

"Don't worry honey, I'll help you pack" my mom said lovingly

"Thanks mom!"
