Yoongi tried not to react or laugh too hard at Jin and Jungkook's antiques. They were a funny, energetic duo, always up to mischief as if they were five years old. He couldn't believe Jin was actually older than him but he liked how he didn't assert his seniority over them. He was a friendly person who respected everyone deeply and received it back tenfolds. Yoongi would always look upto him for his qualities as a good person. But sometimes, he annoyed the shit out of him.

"Hey, Yoongi, come on, man," he cheered loudly as he fake punched him, trying to engage him in a match. He couldn't help it anymore as he broke out in a big grin but tried to mask it with a bit of annoyance. "Hyung, please don't. You'll be sweaty again."

"Doesn't matter, come on, it's good exercise. It'll keep you distracted." Just as  Seokjin said this, his smile turned bitter as he glanced around the studio, his gaze falling on her.

He felt a weird pain in his chest as he watched her laugh beside the man. He didn't remember her laughing like that with him and it just reminded him what he had lost. But he won't admit it to anyone, least of all to himself. Admitting our faults and mistakes to ourselves made it more real.

"It's okay, hyung," he patted Jin's shoulder, "I have lines to memorize and so do you. Now sit back down before our manager starts scolding you again." Jin grumbled, something about how the manager always scolded him no matter what he did, under his breath but at least he wasn't sweating like a pig anymore.

Yoongi was blissfully ignorant of his surroundings as music flowed in his ears through his ear-pods. The lines were pretty simply and it didn't take him time to memorize them as he had claimed before. As of now, he enjoyed the music with his eyes closed and head resting on the back of the chair.

A tap on his shoulder made him crack his left eye open. With an obnoxiously innocent smile painted on his face, the man started speaking something. Yoongi held up his hand to stop the man from speaking and pulled out one of the pods, giving the man his full attention.

"I was just saying that we are ready for the shoot. Heejae asked you to be quick." Yoongi nodded in understanding, watching the rest of his members getting their makeup being touched up. His own stylist worked diligently to give some finishing touches. But he couldn't focus on anything. His eyes were focused on the man who had just addressed the director by her first name, without any honorifics and had once again joined Heejae's side.

"Stop glaring at him, Yoongi," he heard Seokjin whispering beside him, his hand on his shoulder grounding him. Just at that moment, Heejae looked in their direction, as if feeling his displeasure travel to them. With a scowl on her pretty face, she looked away.

"Yoongi, seriously? You need to stop," Seokjin snapped, quite uncharacteristic on his part. He rarely showed his anger or annoyance. He was far better at hiding the darkness in him than Yoongi was. Another thing he wished he could do but couldn't since they were two different people.

Yoongi sighed, looking at his hyung, the older brother he could rely on when he couldn't go to his own brother. "I'm sorry for being like this, Jin hyung but what would you do if you were in my place?" Oh, he knew that Seokjin knew, if not everything then atleast the basic dynamic of Yoongi's relationship with Heejae. The rest, he had confided himself over some beers and tears after Anika's visit.

Seokjin's eyes softened as he looked at the younger man and then at the woman who made him so sad. "I would talk to her. Honestly, if it were Sehee in Heejae's place, I would have gone crazy. But you are not me, Yoongi and Heejae isn't Sehee. If you truly like her, you would know what to do. You know her better than I do."

Yoongi nodded, mulling over the elder's words as they went infront of the camera to deliver their lines for the sake of entertainment. Work was work and it was best he finished it soon to do what he was planning to.

As soon as the shooting ended, he approached her, full of confidence but it deflated as soon as she turned her flat eyes at him. It hurt to see her looking at him like this more than he had ever imagined.

"Can we talk?" Yoongi asked despite everything. He needed to do this, if only for the sake of the peace of his mind. He watched her jaw clenching as she replied, "Sure. What is it?"

He glanced around himself. There weren't many people around him but it wouldn't be hard for others to listen what they were talking about. "Don't even think about saying you want to speak somewhere private? I don't want to be anywhere near you, much less out of public eye." Yoongi grimaced as she gritted out her words, making sure to keep her voice low. She just knew him too well.

"Alright, I won't," he agreed reluctantly, keeping his voice low as well. "I just wanted to ask you out for a coffee." Heejae frowned at his words. "You want coffee? Okay," she agreed, surprising him but it soon turned to shock as she screamed at her secretary to get an iced Americano.

Yoongi sighed, now agitated a little but trying not to let it show. "You know I'm not asking for a coffee. I want to grab a coffee with you and talk."

"Like a date?" she asked, her brows drawing together even more.

"Yes, a date." His answer made her scoff and cross her arms. "What are you trying to do here, Mr. Min?" The formality in her voice really chaffed at his heart but he was completely powerless to refute. So, he just listened.

"I don't need a pity date with you. Oh, wait. It's not even out of pity, is it? You just couldn't see me being happy beside another man, right? I did see you glaring at my colleague during the shoot. Not a very good thing to do, Mr. Min."

"Heejae, I just need a chance. I just want to—"

She held up her hand, silencing him from talking further. "You can't, Yoongi. Even if I give you a chance, it won't work. At the end, we'll still drift apart because I'm not someone you want in your life right now. Just get over that fact and leave me alone."

"Are you really over me?" he asked hastily, watching her starting to leave. Upon hearing his question, she stopped to look into his eyes, showing the truth. "No but I'll get there." With a sickly sweet smile she said her final words. "Your coffee will be here soon, Mr. Min. Now, I have places to be. See you never~" she sang out as respectfully as possibly as she bowed and left him gawking at her retreating figure.

A chuckle ripped out of his chest which soon turned into a full fledged laughter as he processed everything that happened. It wasn't long before her words set in and the gears in his head started moving. Yoongi took a sip of the coffee her assistant delivered with a wry smile. This woman was going to be the death of him.
