"Shut up and take it."
"No."
"Heejae..."
"Yoongi..."
The said man couldn't help but cover his face with his hand, sighing in frustration. But his lips twitched, the sight of Heejae pouting burning behind his eyelids. She was too cute when she chose to be but not many people were lucky to see that.
Shaking his head and taking a deep breath, he opened his eyes again to see the woman pouting like a little kid. He bit down on his lip to stop from smiling yet again and glared at her. "Park Heejae, if you don't take these pills, I won't get you any more brownies," he threatened.
She gasped dramatically, her hand flying to cover her mouth. "How could you?" She let out just as dramatically and fell back on the bed. This time, he couldn't hold back his giggle. Heejae's morning sickness and dizzy spells had become more intense which ended up with her being bedridden. It was the second day in a row when she needed help every time she wanted to move and she was being difficult about taking medicines.
Sehee had surrendered far too early when it came to making her eat anything healthy and now Yoongi was handed the baton to take care of it. Hence, controlling his laughter, he leaned over her, brushing a few strands of her now mint hair off of her face.
She opened her eyes slightly, a little glaze over them. "I hate taking those pills, Yoongi. They are so bitter. It's hard to swallow too." Her lower lip wobbled slightly and it made his heart clench painfully. He wanted to give in badly, he wanted her to taste only sweet things instead of bitter pills but for her and their baby's health he had to make her eat them.
He moved his hand to cup her cheek, strumming his thumb across her cheekbone which once used to be very prominent. With an adoring smile on his lips, he told her the same, "You've gained weight, did you know?"
That made her eyes widen as her hand cupped her other cheek. "You mean to say I look fat?" He chuckled, shaking his head. "No, you just look fuller, mostly your face but I like it. It makes you look prettier."
"Oh," she let out softly, her cheeks warming right beneath his hand. His smile widened. "The doctor said you need to eat those pills to get your hemoglobin up. If it drops down anymore it won't be good and with constant calls from work, you are just adding stress. You need to be relaxed for this little guy to grow healthily," he said, placing a hand on her stomach and caressing it softly.
If it was possible, her blush turned from pink to red and she looked away from his inquisitive eyes. He didn't miss anything though. She sighed a few seconds later, looking back into his eyes, and said, "Fine, I'll take them but you better get me those brownies." He grinned at her, nodding but he didn't sit up.
Heejae leaned up, thinking he would move if she did but her movements only brought her face closer to his. "Um...Yoongi?" He hummed in response, his eyes intent on her lips. "Will you move?"
"I don't want to," he said, looking into her eyes just as his tongue peeked out, grazing over his lower lip. "Do you remember what you did the other day?" She gulped knowing he was talking about that kiss she gave him but she didn't say anything.
"Just so you don't back out," he began, his head moving forward making Heejae drop back down on the soft pillow, "I'm going to give you a reward in advance. If you do back out, I'll make you give it back, okay?"
He was serious. She knew he was serious. It was written all over his face as he leaned down further, his nose brushing against her. His breath fanned against her lips, making her close her eyes tightly and wait to see what he would do. They had kissed so many times before but she didn't know what was different this time but it surely was. It was clear in the way her heartbeat picked up.
