▬▬ι═══════ﺤ༶•┈┈♛┈┈•༶-═══════ι▬▬"A DOCTOR! PLEASE! IT'S AN EMERGENCY!"
The moment the car stopped in front of the hospital's emergency, Aki wasted no time and opened the car's doors with the driver helping him, calling the attention of any staff that could attend to their emergency. Aki kept telling her to wake up, to stay conscious even with her eyes closed. He wasn't sure if the girl could hear him or not but he still continued, in hopes that she does hear him.
A couple of nurses ran to them with a stretcher ready. Akinori didn't want to let go of his sister but he knew he had to. He gently but quickly placed her on the bed, her blood staining his clothes but he didn't care.
At that moment, all he wants is the assurance that his sister is safe.
The nurses pushed the stretcher to the operating room, Aki pushing with them. When one of the head nurses who responded to them recognized Aki and Y/N, he immediately called their best doctors, telling them that the patient is the owner's daughter and should be attended immediately. Two doctors, who were their best doctors available at the time, quickly changed into their surgical suits.
When the stretcher arrived in front of the operating room, some of the nurses had to stop Aki from entering. He was fighting back, he wanted to go in, he wanted to be with his sister while the doctors are treating her, he wanted to be there when she's finally safe from death.
"Sir, please calm down! You can't enter!"
Aki then slowly calmed down as thoughts began filling his head. The nurses helped him sit on one of the waiting chairs outside before leaving to grab a bottle of water for him. The driver of the car was panicking as well, the guilt rushing through his system as he frantically looked at the operating room and then at Aki.
Aki knew he needed someone right now. He needed someone to be with.
With hands stained with his sister's blood, he shakily reached for his phone and dialed the first number in his latest calls.
"Aki! Where are—"
"S-Shi..."
The other line went silent as they heard Aki's trembling voice. Shinichiro immediately knew something was wrong the moment Aki spoke his name with a trembling voice and the sobs that followed just confirmed it.
Shinichiro's expression became filled with worry, "Aki, what's wrong?"
Aki tried to say anything but all that came out of his mouth was his loud sobs as tears streamed down his cheek like waterfalls. He was gasping for air and then broke again. His hand was barely holding the phone, he was desperate to let it go but he needed his best friend.
So with all he can, he heaved a deep breath and mustered every strength he has left, "Y-Y/N... accident... emergency..."
Those three words were enough for Shinichiro to come up with a conclusion. His heart started pounding loudly as he finally grasped onto what Aki was trying to say before he broke down again.
He held the device firmly, "I'll be there in ten. Just hang on." And then he ended the call.
Even though Aki didn't tell him where he was, he knew they were at his family's hospital since it was the closest hospital to their home. Shinichiro wasted no time and put on a jacket before putting his phone in his pocket and grabbing the keys to his motorbike. He dashed out of his room with large strides as he fixed his jacket.
