HOW AWFUL.
THAT EVERYTHING CAN TURN FROM GOOD TO BAD IN A MATTER OF SECONDS.
Like how the sunny sky that had no hint of grey can turn into a crying dark one, pouring its heart out as if it has never felt light.
Like how one's bright smile can be wiped off and replaced by a sobbing face with just one word.
And how someone you were so close with and treated as family can be your enemy with just a flip of a coin.
How awful.
How painful.
To realize that anything can change in just a mere second.
How a heart can be so filled to the brim with love and happiness then shattered to a million pieces in a blink of an eye.
How saddening.
"Mhm, I see. So you have heard about my brother."
The pitter patter of the rain filled the silence that followed after Mikey's words as he knelt in front of their family grave, praying under the pouring rain with no umbrella to cover him. His hair and clothes were soaking wet from the rain but he paid no mind to it as he stared at the tombstone, back at the three who stood behind him.
"Shinichiro has always been such a badass." Draken remarked, eyes staring at the grave.
"Mhm."
"Takemitchy," Said blonde straightened up as Draken looked at him through his peripheral view before continuing, "We know."
"Huh?"
"We know that we can't do anything about that incident. It wasn't Baji nor Kazutora's intention for things to end up the way they did."
"Right..." Mikey stood from his crouching position, "I know we can't do anything... but I still can't accept what happened, my heart can't."
Mikey's solemn gaze remained situated on the grave as his hair flew with the wind.
He turned towards the other three and took the umbrella Draken held for him. He opened the umbrella and held it above his head before he turned away and began walking, his unoccupied hand in his pockets.
The other three followed after him as they all walked under the soft drops of rain. The soft sounds of rain hitting the pavement they walk on and other inanimate objects were the only sounds that filled the silence. The sky, as gray as it was, mirrored the air surrounding the four.
"The CB250T that Baji and Kazutora stole belonged to my brother."
"Wait, what?" Takemichi asked in disbelief.
"It was supposed to be a birthday present for me." He spoke before stopping and slightly turning towards Takemitchy, a nonchalant smile on his lips.
"It was the only thing my brother owned that I have left." He spoke in a soft manner.
