AKI DESPISED THEIR PARENTS EVEN MORE

when they didn't even bother visiting his sister the moment they heard the news. And their reason made him want to disown them.

"Why are you here, Riko? Where's Mother and Father? Have they heard about what happened to Y/N?" A frantic Akinori asked.

He haven't had a blink of sleep for the past 24 hours, the dark circles under his eyes prominent since he stayed with his sister the moment she was admitted to her private room. Shinichiro was standing beside him, he already dropped off Manjiro and Baji after they spent a few hours at Y/N's room then came back to just to make sure Aki was okay.

A man who seems to be in his late thirties, wore a black suit and white dress shirt as Aki stood in front of him. The man bowed at the teen with a stoic face but a solemn feeling inside. Behind him were two brothers who looked confused on why they were at the hospital and why their father was bowing to a teen.

"I apologize, Young Master, but your parents are unable to come due to a lot of business affairs all around they world. As of now, they're in America and they send their utmost apology for not—"

"Bullshit!"

Akinori punched the wall in front of his sister's door and behind the older man.

The two boys flinched at the action, causing them to immediately do their fighting stance but were signaled by their father to not interfere. Good thing they were outside at the empty hallway and the private rooms were all soundproof.

Shinichiro lifted himself off the wall and held out a hand to hold Aki, "Aki—"

"Business?! What in fucking hell?! Their daughter almost died and they wouldn't even spare their damn time to check up on her?! How the fuck do they even call themselves parents?!" Aki shouted, furious at what bullshit the elder in front of him was sprouting.

"For once, they could've been parents. All we ask for is one fucking moment, so that they could at least show that they care for us, for their daughter and yet you're here telling me they're on a goddamn business trip?!"

Riko remained his bowing position, letting Aki release his anger on him because he knew what the teen was feeling and as a parent, he was disappointed in his bosses' as well. However, he was in no position to say that unless he has a death wish.

The man bowed, "On behalf of your parents, I apologize for their lack of time, Young Master. But you do need to understand that they have a group to run and businesses to manage, one day you will under—"

"For years, my sister and I never once complained about their lack of time for us because we always tried our best to understand them. But this was one time, one fucking time, that their presence is important, and yet what? They're in the other side of the fucking globe?!" Akinori was releasing all his pent-up anger for his parents that he had for years. He was lashing it all out to their loyal family butler who was just accepting all of it.

Riko stood up properly but he was still looking down. Aki ran his fingers through his hair before turning to their family butler with a cold and stern gaze, "If they don't want to come, then fucking fine. We don't need them here anymore. But tell them this," Aki pointed a finger at the butler, "If something worse happens to my sister, I will not just deny being their heir but I will destroy them as well. Mark my words."
