I woke up at about 6:30 to the dinging of my phone.  I looked at my phone to find...303 message notifications???  I open up my messages and see that the members of the fencing team are talking.

Mark: You guys, we should probably start practicing again before our competition on Monday.

Julia: Good thinking, but when and where should we practice?

Jaemin: There's an abandoned gym a couple blocks from my house.

Julia: Umm, no thanks to that!

Aera: What about the YMCA near school?

Mark: It's closed on Saturdays.

Renjun: You guys can just come over to my fencing club.  There aren't supposed to be any classes today, and I bet my coach wouldn't mind.

Minnie: Good suggestion oppa!

Jeno: Great, Renjun's fencing club it is.  Just send us the address.

Renjun: Yea of course

Mark: Guys what about training, like swimming or something.

Renee: Mark you must really want all of us to die huh?

Aria: You know you guys woke me up and I found 303 message notifs.

Haechan: whoops

Renjun: blame it on Mark

Haechan: and Julia

Mark: what the hell did I do?

Aria: Let me wrap this up for you.  We all go to Renjun's fencing club 12 pm sharp, today.  Got it?

Mark: Yes Ma'am

Julia: yup

Renee: sounds good

Renjun: okay see you guys there!

I roll over to place my phone on the coffee table next to the couch, and I head to my room to get changed to go grocery shopping before I head to Renjun's fencing.  After 15 minutes, I grab my phone and purse and head out the door and head to the grocery store.  Once I arrive, I head in with some of my shopping bags and pick up the things I need.  "Okay," I say to myself, "I need orange juice, some fruit, bread, ramen, kimchi..." as I'm walking, I bump into someone.  "Oh my goodness I'm so sorry!" I say as I bow 90 degrees.  "No worries!  No one's hurt," I hear a man say. I look up and see, my fencing coach?  "Coach, what are you doing here?" I say.  "Aria, omg!," Coach Ten says excitedly, "how's Neo High been for you?  I heard you transferred over there this year."  "It's wonderful," I say in response.  "I've made friends, have high grades and I'm even on their fencing team!"  "As expected of a national champion," Coach Ten says patting my back.  "Well I should probably go, my cats and dog are waiting for me at home," he says while winking, and then he walks off.  I get everything that I need and then head home to get ready to meet up with the fencing team.

After unpacking my groceries and getting changed, I head over to Renjun's fencing club.  I follow the instructions of my GPS only to arrive at...Seoul National Fencing Club?  Wait, this is Renjun's club?  This is one of the most prestigious fencing clubs in the country!  I instantly recognized the beautiful building.  After staring at it in awe, I gather my things, get out of my car, and head inside.

Renjun's fencing club:

I head inside, and wait for the rest of the team to arrive.  I look around and don't see very many people inside.  In fact, I don't even think Renjun is here yet.  I put in my AirPods and decide to listen to some music before everyone else shows up.  As a new song starts to play, I feel someone tap my shoulder.  I turn around to see...Coach Lay?  I give him a huge smile and give him a big hug.  "Oh my goodness, Coach Lay what are you doing here?!"  He gives me an easy smile and says, "I'm the head coach here now."  "Oh jinja?  Well congratulations!"  He was my fencing coach back in China, the one who first got me interested into the sport.  He moved away about a year before we moved to Seoul.  I was so shocked right now, as it seems like forever since the last time that I saw him.  We sit down and catch up with each other before the rest of my team arrives.

I was so immersed in my conversation with Coach Lay that I didn't see the rest of the team walk in at first.  "Hey Aria, you're pretty early."  I turn around to see Jeno waving at me with a smile.  "Yeah I guess, I was just-" "How do you know Coach Lay?" Renjun asks, with one eyebrow raised.  I look back at Coach Lay and he nods his head as a signal for me to explain.  "Well you see, he was actually my very first fencing coach back in China," I say.  "He's the one who introduced me to the sport and helped me find my love for it."  "Oh wow, you guys must go way back!" said Mark with a smile.  "Yeah, I guess," I say.  I see Renjun with a small smile on his face.  It's like he found comfort knowing that I know his coach so well.  I walk towards my team and we start to warm up and stretch before we actually practice.  As I was stretching I see Coach Lay coming our way followed by 4 other boys.  "Hey you guys, would you mind gathering around here for a quick second," Coach Lay says.  We walk towards him, and then he starts to speak.  "So Renjun called me today and asked if you guys could come to our club to practice for your competition.  That's when I got an idea.  Why don't you guys fence the guys from my national team?"  Everybody nods their head in excitement as a yes.  "Great, then go suit up, and knock yourselves out," Lay says before walking away with a smile.

After getting suited up, I walk up to a strip, plug in my foil and body chord to the electrical chords, and wait for someone to fence me.  As I'm daydreaming, I feel something on my leg.  I look up and see one of the boys from Coach Lay's fencing team tapping his foil against my leg to grab my attention.  "Wanna fence," he asks?  I nod my head yes and turn around to go to my starting line.  We salute, and just as we're about to start fencing, I realize...I definitely know him.  I throw off my mask and walk towards him.  He looks at me in confusion before he says, "Jesus Aria, just because you're with Coach Ten doesn't mean you gotta call of the bout."  That's when it hits me.  Justin Li, captain of the Seoul National Men's Team.  The team that beat our mens' team years ago.  The team that had that amazing one fencer who managed to lunge and flick at the same time.  The team that had Huang Renjun.
