Dear most loyal readers, the second chapter of our tale opens inside the castle of Crescent, we find that Nico is still struggling to come to terms with his situation, he'd been taken to a world that was not his own, he lost the goddess he was raised on and was called on by a new and strange goddess. He'd witnessed a rape, and his own mate; a future king, had done nothing to stop it, he held Nico back when he tried to stop it. And don't even get me started on the current King, Nico thought the man a pig, and as the nearly all knowing Scribe of Adornia I can assure you Avif is, was, and will be a filthy pig.
Nico had gone silent towards Caros for two weeks, which drove Caros to the brink of madness, he'd promised his father he'd get to know the earthen Omega and then perform the claiming, but Nico was not interested in getting to know Caros, no, he wanted to pretend Caros didn't exist; like the future king was a just another one of the fixtures in their den.
That's where we find Nico, inside the bedroom that belonged to he and Caros. The Omega's Bara and Doram were helping Nico to get dressed, they were his Hands. The fitting for his new clothes had taken place an hour before, and the only thing Nico liked were the shirts, the one he was wearing was made of woven wood, it looked nice on him, but he didn't like the wet feeling of the liquid woven pants so he wore his own.

Doram was darker than his brother, his neck was shorter, and Nico honestly liked him more, Bara had a serious stick up his butt, but Nico also understood; he couldn't fathom growing up in Crescent. Doram like Bara was very tall, he was just as freckled, but unlike Bara's constant dead face, Doram had very seducing eyes.
