My alarm blares in my ear and I groan and roll over to stop it. Once I do, I open my eyes and fixate in my half lit room. I sit up, pushing all of the hair in my face away.

"Shit!" A voice sounds from downstairs.

My heart beat immediately increases because I should be home alone. I tip-toe out my room and quickly into Scott's room, grabbing his bat. I hold it high, ready to swing at any intruder. I continue to tip-toe down the hallway and down the stairs, hoping the intruder doesn't hear me. I finally get to the next step and take a deep breath. I run out yelling and a familiar boy jumps and yells in fright.

"Stiles Stilinski! What the hell! You scared me!" I drop the bat and sit on the floor, trying to get my breathing back to normal.

Stiles grabs his chest. "You? You're the one who saw my head as a baseball!" Once he finishes, he pauses and then starts to laugh. I laugh with him while he walks over and holds out his hand, helping me up to stand very close to him. "I made breakfast." He kisses me passionately before pulling away and walking to the counter. "I tried to make pancakes, but I almost set your house on fire so I made... toast!" He turns around with a plate of three pieces of toast with strawberry jam spread on top.

I smile an sit at our kitchen island. "It's perfect." He sets my plate down in front of me and then grabs his to sit next to me.

"So Scott texted me saying he might be late for our first game today." Stiles says in between bites. "His date must've went well."

I smile. "He likes Kira, and I'm happy for him. There's no reason he can't be happy during all of this." I take the last bite of my toast to finish it.

I could sense his smile. "And I'm happy with you Myla. Are you nervous for today?"

"Yeah, but a little less knowing you'll be with me." I stand, taking my plate to the sink. "I'm going to get dressed. I'll get you an outfit too." As I walk by, I kiss the side of his face before walking back up to my room. I change into light wash ripped jeans and red crop top along with my with Vans. I loosely curl my hair, looking nice for my first game. After I finish, I go into the drawer and grab Stiles some khakis and a flannel to wear to school today.

"Hey," Stiles walks in my room, "what are we saying at school about us?" He starts dressing, even though I'm still in the room.

"Uh, let's just keep it on the down low. I want to tell Scott first." I sit on my bed while I wait for Stiles to finish.

Once he does he turns to me. "How do I look?" I laugh seeing that he forgot a button on the bottom and his hair being one big mess I quickly fix it before we ride together to school.

The final bell rings and I start putting unnecessary books in my locker when Liam Dunbar rushes to my side. "Hey, you're Scott's sister."

I make a confused face and look at him. "Did you just figure that out?"

Liam looks flustered as we walk to the locker room. "Where is he? Is he okay?"

Stiles joins us as we meet at the locker room door. "Yes, Scott is fine." I reply.

"Liam," Stiles starts, "I got a text from him this morning saying he might be a little late."

Liam starts panicking. "How is he late? Why is he late? Is he always late? We're playing Davenford Prep again and this time it's an actual game. He shouldn't be late." Liam babbles.

"Who shouldn't be late?" Coach butts in.

All three of us turn to him. "Scott might be lil late." Stiles replies.

Coach looks confused and angry. "Slightly late is still late. What is he doing?" None of us say anything. "What could Scott be doing right now that could possibly make him late and be more important in playing the first game?"

I walk away from the conversation too nervous about tonight. I change into my jersey and quickly make it to the field. The lights were on as the sky starts to get darker. I watch parents and classmates fill the stadium, more particularly, Noah Stilinski and Malia Tate coming in together.

Stiles sits next to me and starts putting on his cleats. "Stiles, have you talked to Malia?"

He glances at me. "No. I thought we were keeping it on the DL. Although I haven't seen her all day so I never had the chance."

Our conversation is interrupted by Liam sitting next to me. "He's still not here." Liam points out.

I drop my stick and turn to him. "What's really going on Liam? The full moon is tomorrow, are you nervous?" Liam looks away to the field. "Liam, you're going to be fine. Just uh, don't rage out on anyone."

Liam looks and Stiles and I. "You're not worried?"

Stiles cuts in. "I'm mildly concerned."

"Mildly." I repeat, agreeing with Stiles. Stiles assured me before school ended that it was just fine and I trust him on it.

As Liam and I continue to put our gear on, Stiles pulls out his phone, texting Scott.

Liam sits up straight. "We're going to lose without him and Myla is benched."

He wasn't wrong, I am benched for a few games. I told Coach that Dad made me going back to Fresno for a bit and he didn't like that answer.

"No, we're not Liam." Stiles begins. "We can be just as good without the McCall twins. I've been practicing." Stiles slides his gloves on. "And let me tell you, I'm getting good. Really good."

The whistle blows and the two rush to the field, leaving me and a bunch of other teammates on the bench. As the game goes on, Stiles has fallen, missed the ball, tripped, and has been plowed over many times. He was good, at being bad. As the half comes to a close, Davenford Prep scores four goals; Beacons Hills, zero.

Stiles sits next to me. "No one is answering our calls. Kira didn't show up for school today. I'm going to go look for them."

I grab his arm. "Let me come with. I'm not playing anyways. I can help. Please?"

He puts his hand on mine. "Don't leave my sight okay? I'm not losing you or your brother, got it?"

I nod and we go by Noah Stilinski. "Hey Dad, Scott's missing and we have to go look for him." Stiles explains to his father.

"Uh okay, I'll come with. I'm a police officer, I can handle a missing person." Noah replies while starting to stand.

Malia looks at us. "Should I stay here in case he comes back?"

Before anyone has time to think about it, I reply. "Yes. Just so if he shows up, you can tell him and then just keep an eye out for Liam, I can sense his fear and anxiety so make sure he doesn't lash out." She nods so the three of us leave the field.
