Bakugou's POV:

Why am I stuck with Icy Hot and Flex Tape... All we did since we started our patrol was argue. How I wish I went on patrol with anyone else, I would have even accepted Mineta!

"Nee Bakugou, do you have any news from Mina?"

"Worried about your girlfriend Flex Tape?" I reply.

"Well it's been a full day now and she still hasn't come back. She always at the very least calls or send someone a text to say that she's fine, it's not in her habits to disappear just like that."

"I'm sure Ashido-san is fine, she must be busy that's all."

"You think so Todoroki? I'm still worried though..."

"She'll give you news when she can! Get off her back for a bit dumbass!" Ugh clingy boyfriends! But I must admit that he is not wrong. Mina would have warned us by now, especially when she was sent out just to help out Lemillion arrest a Villain.

"Well well well~~. Look what we have here." We all look up at the nearest building and see three figures on top of it. They all jump down the building and stay a respectable distance away from us. We know two out of the three very well, Dabi and Himiko Toga, members of the League of Villains. The third one on the other hand is unknown, maybe a new member of the LoV? He seems to be around my height if not a little smaller but beside that I can't tell much about his appearance, his face is covered by a steampunk styled mask, I can't see his hair either because of his hood, the only thing I can tell is that his skin is almost porcelain colored because of his uncovered fingertips. They all jump down the building and stay a respectable distance away from us.

"If it is Dynamight, Shoto and Cellophane." The masked man says.

"It's been so long since we last played with you guys~~~~!! And look we even brought a new playmate with us~~~!" The crazy bitch giggles, I don't like this. I don't like this at all.

"Not gonna say hi to your old brother Shoto?" Dabi smirks, Icy Hot freezes for a moment (no pun intended).

"Our last meeting ended up with me almost dying by your hands so... I'm going to say no."

"Awwww the little popsicle is still salty about his defeat~~~~?" The masked man taunts Shoto, rolling a teal marble I know well, I hear Icy Hot let out a frustrated growl.

"Why are you here anyway? You're trying to capture me again to join your little band? I already told you not even in your dreams!" The masked man stops playing with the marble, he looks at me intensely and then burst out laughing on top of his lungs.

"No no no we are not here to recruit you Katsuki Bakugou~! Not even close to that~~. We are here to have some fun that's all~~." Fun? They're here to have...fun ?!

"Well looks like we're going to have to cut the fun short. This can either go smoothly or we can use violence,what do you choose?" Flex Tape asks, silence follows, is he stupid or just dumb? Even the Villains are staring at him for his stupidity!!!

"...He didn't ask what he just asked right?" The burnt dude says. Sip girl is is rubbing her head like she's having the worst headache ever.

"Dollyyyyyyy I think I just lost a million braincells..." "Dolly" 's only answer is to crack the marble between his thumb and index. From the marble a humanoid form comes but when the smoke dissipate we are kind of relaxed to see that it's not another villain but some kind of human sized puppet.

"Hey... Doesn't this thing look a lot like..." Sero starts, pointing out the puppet. I look at it closer and then it hits me like a fucking truck.

"It looks like Ingenium!!" Ingenium is a Pro Hero who disappeared shortly after searching for the Hero killer Stain, his brother and our classmate Tenya was devastated and has been looking for Ingenium ever since. It's been 3 years.

"Oh but it doesn't JUST look like Ingenium~~. It IS Ingenium~~~~!" The masked mask yells gleefully.

"WHAT?!!" We all scream. This puppet is Ingenium?!

"Indeed my dears~~. You see my Quirk allows me to turn any living thing I touch into puppets that I can use later~~. A rather neat Quirk isn't it?" I can tell the bastard is smirking under his mask.

"You're going to pay for this!" Sero screams as he launches in the air and throws his tape directly at the puppeteer.

"Hanta no !" Todoroki tries to stop him but Dabi stops him with a wall of flames.

"Ah ah ah~. Let the tape boy face his humiliation." When the tape was about to hit the masked man, the Ingenium puppet rushes toward Sero and delivers a powerful kick in the guts, sending Sero flying at high speed against a wall.

"Go have fun with Mr Office Furniture Toga-chan~, just don't kill him."

"Can I maim him a bit pleaaaaase~~~~?" She gives him big puppy eyes, I simply can't believe what I'm seeing!

"Just a few fingers~~ and maybe an eye if you're a good girl~~." He pets her while she squeals happily, she then grabs her knives and walk toward where Sero landed. I try to go after her only to be stopped by glowing energy threads coming from the Puppeteer's fingertips.

"Nuh-uh~~. You're not going anywhere pretty boy~~." The masked man moves his fingers, making my body move closer to him against my will.

"The fuck you think you're doing?! Let me go!" I try to use my Quirk to blow up his threads but it has no effects.

"Hmmm~~ you're quite a pretty thing~. You'd make a beautiful and deadly doll~~." The fuck ?!!!
"Maybe I should add you to my collection~~." Collection ?!

"You fucking psycho! As soon as I cut those strings of yours I'll make sure you spend the rest of your miserable villain life in Tartarus!" I growl angrily at him, he merely huffs.

"Is this your idea of fun? Then let me show you what my idea of fun is~~." Before I can do anything I feel myself being lifted high in the air before being slammed on the hard ground, then the Ingenium puppet arrives fuff speed toward me and kicks me in the head like a soccer player kicks a soccer ball to win a game at the last minute. That hurts so fucking bad! I'm definitely going to have a concussion after this kick. The masked man lets out a mocking laugh at me, even the mask seems to be smirking at me.
"What's wrong Hero? Not strong enough to beat a poor wooden puppet and get rid of my strings~~? Are Heroes getting weaker with each generation? Come on Katsuki Bakugou! Show me what you got!!" He sneers and lifts me up again, I still feel dizzy from the kick from earlier... This time he slams my body on the facades of the surrounding abandoned buildings. I keep trying to get free from his strings but nothing I do seems to affect them!! Todoroki tries to come help me but Dabi keeps blocking him with walls of flames, as for Sero he is too busy avoiding Toga's knives and her blood sucking machine to even think about helping me. Great. This is the last time I'm going on patrol with these two!
"Has UA not teach you anything useful ?! What's the point in training so hard to protect people when you can't even protect yourself ?!!" He slams me on the ground again from a higher distance and harder this time, fuck I think my arm just broke under the impact! His strings finally let go of me but I still can't move, my body refuses to respond... I slowly feel my consciousness leave me... He slowly walks toward me and kicks me swiftly in the chest to turn me on my back.
"You are weak, you're not worth being a part of my collection. At least now. You better train harder than that Hero, then maybe we will meet again and you'll become one of my dear dolls. Until then, farewell Kacchan." Kacchan..? Only one person was ever allowed to call me that... Someone I lost years ago... I look up at him before I lose consciousness for good. The last thing I see is a pair of poisonous green eyes staring at me in disappointment.
