"I dunno if this is a good idea, Orch..." Rose held a pie in her paws as she and Orchid walked towards Spark's house. "Maybe we should just go back..."
"I didn't bake that pie for nothing." The Leafeon pouted stubbornly.
Orchid and Rose both agreed to bring a pie to Spark's house in order to apologize properly to Skylar. While Orchid was all for this idea, wanting Rose to feel better about herself and seek self-atonement, Rose was a bit more hesitant, knowing that Skylar would probably not want to see her.
Suddenly, something zipped past the duo, almost making Rose drop the pie.
"What the heck was that?" The female Umbreon asked confusedly, keeping her paws on the pie. "Almost knocked over the pie she spent so long baking..."
"I don't know." Orchid replied, looking at the fading Pokémon in the distance. "Let's just mind our own business."
"Right."

Once the duo reached Spark's house, they were surprised to see that the door was left wide open. Orchid let out a nervous whimper, linking her arm with Rose's.
Rose held the pie in one paw as she grabbed Orchid's paw with her other for comfort as they slowly walked in. They walked into the living room, which seemed to be destroyed and in tatters.
They saw a familiar Sylveon whimpering while trying to get a dresser off of a couch. Her face wasn't visible, since she was facing in the opposite direction. Her fur was burnt and messy, but she didn't seem to care about how her fur looked.
"Skylar...?"
She stopped, looking back to see a familiar Umbreon.
Rose then stood up shakily before looking over to Skylar. "...You're next." The Sylveon let out a groan as she stood up slowly. She then ran over to Rose before giving her a hug.
"Rose..." Skylar strained, hugging the Umbreon. "Why are you doing this? Because I turned you down?"
"..." Rose didn't respond, her arms dropping to her sides.
"You even evolved out of hatred..." The Sylveon continued, "...The friend I've known since Kindergarten is still in there, right?"
"..." When Rose heard the word 'Friend', her eyes widened in anger. "...I'm not your friend!" She punched Skylar in her stomach before she cried in pain, hitting the ground. "I never wanted to be your friend!" She then began stomping on the Sylveon's face, Skylar screaming out with every step.
The Sylveon had fresh tears running down her face as she and Rose locked eyes. Her breathing hitched as she looked back to the dresser and back at her.
Despite the raging emotions inside of her, telling her to not trust the Umbreon in front of her. But she couldn't stop the words spilling from her lips next.
"Please.... H-Help..."
Rose, unable to think about what she needed help with, gave the pie to Orchid before helping to pull the dresser off of the couch.
Skylar immediately ripped the cushions off of the couch, revealing an unconscious Flareon. It was Aiden, who looked a bit bruised. The Sylveon was reduced to a sobbing and babbling mess as she dropped to her knees, pulling the young Flareon close to her body.
"Tyler!? Where are you?" A voice called from the entrance, running into the living room. It was a familiar Espeon with a flower pin on her ear. "I came as soon as you called-" She saw Rose and Orchid, who were just standing over Skylar.
