Spark walked back into the house, expecting to be greeted by a familiar hug and kiss, but it never came. Now that he noticed it, the house was a bit quiet. She didn't hear the voices of Winter and Skylar arguing over what show to watch next, the sounds that he had gotten so used to hearing.

He knew that Aiden, Tyler, Violet, and Drizzle had all arrived back to Kalos, so he was more surprised that he didn't hear sloppy kissing from Skylar's bedroom as he walked past the hallway leading to their rooms.

He walked into the living room to see a few of his friends, a random female Leafeon, for some reason Rose, all sitting in the living room with solemn expressions.

"Guys...?" The Jolteon asked, startling a few in the room to look at him. "What's going on? Why's Rose here? What's with the Leafeon?"

Spark then took a moment to look around the room. Their possessions seemed to be in mint condition, but the walls and carpets seemed to be messed up. Spark's eye twitched at the realization of two things. One, there was a fight in the house, and two...

Getting the carpets back to normal was gonna suck.

"Spark... There's a lot we need to explain to you." Tyler finally spoke up walking to the Jolteon. "But I guess the best place to start from would be to give you this..." He passed something to Spark, which made the Jolteon's heartbeat speed up.

Winter's necklace.

What did Tyler have this? The Jolteon felt uneasy, sitting down on the couch. His eyes hadn't been able to move from that necklace since it was given to him. Winter never took it off aside from when they were sleeping.

"What the... But... The necklace..." Spark was at a loss for words.

"Relax, man." Tyler spoke, putting a paw on his shoulder. "I guess we should start explaining what happened, and why they're here."

---

After nearly half an hour of explaining what happened from the moment Tyler and Aiden returned to the house, to when Spark walked in play-by-play, the Jolteon was reduced to a silent shell.

Alice? Pyra?

He played with the necklace in his paws, his paws tracing the exterior of it slowly as he digested every bit of information from Tyler and the rest of the group.

Red eyes? Multilution Stone...?

Spark didn't look up at the rest of the group's faces as he continued to look down at the necklace. It was almost as if he could smell Winter's scent just by holding it in his paws. He already missed putting his face in that soft fur of hers.

"I know you must despise us for what happened, but I'll be the one to say it." Skylar stood up, "I'm sorry, Spark."

The Jolteon raised a paw, putting on the Sylveon's shoulder softly. He patted her shoulder softly before walking out of the room. He could be seen stumbling a bit as he walked, needing to rest his body on the wall for a second before continuing to walk.

"He took that... Surprisingly well." Skylar remarked.

"No he didn't." A calm voice cut through the Sylveon's original statement. It was Orchid, who seemed mildly distressed. "He's currently in a state of psychological shock. He needs some time alone to calm down."

"So... What should we do for the time being?" Tyler asked the Leafeon.

"You guys should keep an eye on him." She answered, "But be sure to not have him notice that you're watching him. The feeling of being watched can often escalate the situation."
